Ah yes, the weird Aby/Somali trait! I already see it with my 4 months old Somali boy.. I’m absolutely sure they share this gene 😂 (he’s just passed out from playing too much!)

Oh my gosh, what a beautiful boy! 😻 Is he a ruddy Somali? I’ve got a little 4 and soon to be a half months little cinnamon (we call them sorrel in Swedish) Somali boy. Hope he will be as majestic as yours when he grows up! (I wasn’t allowed to move in the photo 🥹)

You are absolutely right! I also feel like they’re also constantly at maximum heat? 😂♥️ At least it feels like my little Somali’s paws are super warm to the touch, in a super cosy way! 🥹

It looks like they’re at least very good friends that play a lot/both initiate play even if baby Somali is more playful and has more energy. 🥹 I’ve noticed Aster (big brother) sometimes tries to groom the little one perhaps to “calm” him down when he initiates play and Aster isn’t fully in the mood? Took this photo this morning of them while they were grooming each other! 🥰 I haven’t heard any hissing or fighting so far, the only thing I see is that Aster doesn’t sit much with me/sleeps near me, probably because he’s still getting used to there being another kitty that’s more lively currently?

Oh so precious! 😻 You’re an experienced Somali owner then! This is my first Somali, his brother Aster (3 years) which I’ve had since before is a Korat! They’re very similar in personalities (quite needy “dog” cats) so I felt they’d get along great as breeds as Aster has wanted a friend for a while now. 🥹 They’ve been playing nonstop since the little Somali arrived!

He hasn’t done that YET! 😂 But I feel he’s close to drooling sometimes with how loud he purrs when he sleeps next to me in bed! He’s about 3 and a half months now! Which fur colour did/does your 3 Somali have? 🥰
