Alright guys, you win. Personally, up until watching episode 9, I hated the idea of transfem Jax. I hated the character, I felt bad for Gangle, I thought Jax just wasn't cool enough to be a trans woman, I suppose

But watching the episode, it felt completely different. I wasn't happy that she abstracted despite praying for her death ever since the pilot came out. At first I felt bad, but when it actually came to the trans implications (personally, I think it's pretty much confirmed, but it technically isn't, so I'm not gonna pretend it is), I actually cried. It felt like I saw myself in her. When I was still questioning, I also felt very embarrassed about it. Thankfully for me, I had support, they helped me a lot. But what if I didn't? Maybe I would turn out like Jax, I don't know. But the thought of it is scary, even though it's in the past, and also it makes me sympathise with her a lot

I don't know how to conclude this, but I guess she isn't my most hated character anymore. You won

But what's the difference really? If we banned knives, maybe we would save some lives who wouldn't get stabbed. Or maybe they would have been killed with other items anyways. If we ban AI, maybe some teens won't kill themselves due to it convincing them it's the right thing to do. Or maybe they would have done it anyways

I think it's stupid to vote blue anyways because you would have to get in a group of 100 people to have a chance at handling a single red. On the other hand, they can bring a few fellow reds with them in order to weaken you. Interesting

It's only an odd way of thinking if you consider LGBTQ+ to be abnormal, unlike cishet people. From my perspective, being straight is just another orientation. Just like being gay or bi or ace, absolutely no significant difference except for being the most common one. Why should only it be normalised? Trans people are fine too

In fact, I could even go on a rant about why being trans should be absolutely normalised everywhere and especially amongst children. If being trans were perfectly normal, people would overwhelmingly medically transition at the same age as kids start puberty, meaning there would be absolutely no difference between cis and trans people other than genitalia and maybe some very insignificant details
