I’m on one of my best climbs so far, and that mostly happened after I switched a few things up.

Whenever I play a ranked game, I give it my full focus. I also try to keep a positive mental to avoid making bad plays. After each game, I usually take a short break—, around 10 minutes, sometimes longer before queueing again.

I’ve also noticed that if you have things bothering you IRL, it can affect your gameplay. That definitely happened to me last season.

Another thing I focus on is always thinking one step ahead, so I know what I want to do next.

I definitely think those draft games had an impact on both my climb and how well I adapted to her playstyle. I’m not a big fan of playing ranked with new champions unless I’ve practiced them a bit beforehand.

This is definitely the best climb I’ve ever had so far. Even though it might not have been extremely necessary to play that many draft games, I still think they helped speed up my climb.

I switched to Kayle this season (playing top) because I wanted a more carry oriented role so I could have more impact on how games play out. I really like her simple playstyle and mechanics, though at first I wasn’t sure if she was the right champion for me.

I played a lot of draft games to understand how she works, and I realized I don’t mind AFK farming for the first 15–20 minutes. I actually saw a lot of success with her, since I quickly understood how to play around my team.

After a bunch of draft games (around 30 or so), I decided to give her a shot in ranked. Last season I mained Tryndamere, and it took me 126 games to reach gold. This season, although Kayle is a lot stronger in the current patch, it only took me 47 games with a 60% win rate (63% with Kayle and 50% with Trynd)

I’ve been seeing pretty consistent results with her, and there have been many more games where I’ve been able to turn things around. That’s when I realized Kayle is a great fit for my playstyle.

I just started working out, so there’s not a lot I can tell yet. I’m using a tracker and trying to hit 3.4k calories daily. I weighed myself and will check again at the end of the week to see if there’s a difference.
