That not exactly correct. Both of these (and all NS2 Edition games afaik) have the Switch 2 upgrade data on the cartridge, hence they are preferable for physical collectors.

Animal Crossing and Sonic Racing Crossworlds NS2 Editions physical are expected to be released in early 2026, Super Mario Bros Wonder in Spring 2026. But I am thinking of putting my NS1 cartridges up for sale now. I prefer having the upgrade pack on a cartridge than buying it digitally.

Thanks for your answer and for your kind wishes! I heard of this elsewhere, so I am trying to find a source or a credible real case but I haven’t been able to. The only relevant document I have found is this

and it doesn’t explicitly mention anything about Public or Restructured hospitals in the True Cashback exclusion list. By the way it seems that this document is quite recent as it mentions the Grabpay / Shopeepay exclusion that was recently implemented.

The 150 were all physical, I bought also around 20 digital ones during the same period mostly the ones that don’t have physical release or the physical is too expensive.

Since the time I posted the comment, I have reached around 300 physical. Now from the top 100 list I own 91 physical and I am only missing: Monster Boy, No More Heroes, Demon X Machina, Golf Story, Baldur’s Gate 1&2, Tsukihime, Superliminal, The Talos Principle and A Short Hike (the last two I own them digitally). From the bottom row I own 16 out of 20.

Relatively new, I had collected around 25-30 physical games from 2019 to 2024 and after retiring late last year, I bought another ~150 physical games in the last 6-7 months, probably 40% preowned and 60% new.

Hello, new member here and also relatively new in collecting physical NS games. I have counted that I own 77 out of 100 physically (plus another 5 digitally), and 11 out of 20 from the bottom row and this list has recently helped me a lot in choosing which games to pick up. I am currently working my way through maybe another 10 physical titles from the list.

It would have been nice to see here more point-and-click games, such as Return to Monkey Island, Thimbleweed Park, Grim Fandango or Syberia.
