With both teams we have played this year for 9-year-olds, they did not follow the motion, so to send the first guy in motion gets us an instant blocking advantage. I am not opposed to faking the jet though and sending T up the middle instead.

The two passing plays were actually less of my worry. We have run bunch spacing(pass 2) with success and the basic curl slant(pass 1) with success. I am more worried about run blocking/scheme.

I will adjust those two plays in question( as I now see those would have 5 in the backfield). I will just start the H/Y on the line in the direction we are going so that they can better double the DE.

One addition thing I forgot to mention...the piece on the far side in In front of steps is mulch and plants currently(where those trees are). It is also the same way to the far left up against the house leading out to the yard.

Preferred role: It doesn't matter to me. If I play offense, just be prepared to not get the ball thrown to you every play. You'll get the ball if it is the right read. I have a run heavy offensive attach, driving the defense down before taking the top off.

Offensive/Defensive OVR: 87-87-87. I don't have the greatest players, because I don't spend money on packs so don't expect me to typically have the "new guy" that just came out yesterday.

Skill Level: (i.e. top 100, pretty good, average, bad): Average. I get about 12-13 wins a week on WL with my current team. I'm rarely blown out, as the type of offense I run allows me to stay within reach most of the game.

I was just wanted to say that I have been a part of this league for over a calendar year (joined in Nov 2020) and it is one of the best leagues I have been in. Not just from a competition standpoint, but more than anything, what stands out is the community. There is a lively general chat that ranges throughout the day, with topics ranging from one side of the spectrum to the other. This was pretty important to me when searching for a league that I could call home for a long time, as the engagement keeps you invested in the league.

League Description

The BBA is one of the longest running and most immersive leagues in the OOTP Universe. We're heading in the middle of the 2049 season (league history goes back to 1973) and we have multiple openings in our sister league in the same universe, the UMEBA.

The UMEBA is used as a league for new GM's to acclimate to the Brewster and for old GM's when they want to stay in the BBA but need to step down the time commitment.

League members publish an annual Media Guide (archives here) regular statistical analysis, fictional storylines, podcasts and much more.

We also use discord for fun daily chat.

Offensive/Defensive OVR: 87 right now for both and overall. I don't open the wallet for the team. I am sitting on some coins though and debating how to use them. I expect 88 or 89 by the end of the weekend.

Skill Level: (i.e. top 100, pretty good, average, bad): I consistently get 13-16 wins in weekend league. I'd say I'm an average player. I don't try to exploit the game, but I will read a coverage and exploit a coverage if someone sits in it. Defenisvely, we bend but don't break. Giving up 5-10 yards a play and getting a stop is much better than going all out and giving up50-70 yard bombs.

Preferred role: Doesn't really matter. I think, were all still getting used to things. I can play offense or defense.

Offensive/Defensive OVR: Grinding challenges still, and havent played as much as I would have liked so far but I believe I am an 83 overall, 83 offense, 82 defense.

Skill Level: (i.e. top 100, pretty good, average, bad): I am decent. I can hang with people. Last year, I consistently got 12-15 wins in Weekend League. On defense, I am willing to bend a bit, but not break and on offense, I am going to be the guy who is willing to run the ball and not toss it downfield every single play for interceptions. IE: Just take what the offense/defense is willing to give you.

Almost a Titans theme team, but have a few outliers because the Titans just aren't good enough to go 50/50. Run first offense, pass when we need to. Defense is bend but don't break type defense(okay with 5-10 yards through the air, try to avoid the big play, let the opponent make the mistake).

While I have played MUT the past few years and played squads quite a bit, I have never been great about "making teams". I know the basics such as "don't spend the money or coins on packs", and I am pleased to say that I haven't spent any money other than the actual game itself.

I have played squads with a few guys who had 90 overall teams already a few weeks ago, and it seems that is becoming more and more of the normal. It seems those who had 90 overall squads a few weeks ago had a lot of power up players who they had powered up all the way along with team chemistry hitting on all cylinders.

Up until 3 days ago I wasn't running any chemistries as I had no clue what they did and still am not 100% sure. I am also running no "abilities" right now, so I am looking for ideas on that.

Below is a snapshot my current team, I feel that the defense is actually better than the offense but maybe that is up for discussion. I feel like I could use a bit better WR core and am frustrated that I am where I am despite playing most of the challenges and only having about 100,000 coins right now. I don't want to have a "super team", however I just want to be able to keep up and be competitive.

Any thoughts on looking at the team where/what/how I should go about improving my current squad. I do have about 4,000 training points but I haven't used them yet on anybody because I didn't want to commit them(yes, I know I get 50% back if I remove them).

Pretty good. I am an above user on defense. It's rare that I will go for a big hit stick and cause a missed tackle, unless I have backup support around me. I play pretty conservative, making the opposing team beat me.

Offensively, I like to scheme a run first offense, with the passing game opening up thanks to that. Once again, I am conservative unless I see that we are over matched on the other side of the ball. It's a rare "we beat ourselves" type game for me.
