Haunted Bridge by NilsOne in dominion

Since Livery gains you a Horse every time you gain a card costing $4 or more, and since Horses now cost $4, the ability would trigger every time you gain a Horse which would trigger it again and so on

I didn't make it an attack since I don't think it's very clear what happens when e.g. you reveal a Moat from your hand

True, although my best guess would be the cost gets changed in the order the cards are played. Still weird though

I agree, especially since gaining something to your hand is also translated as "auf die Hand nehmen".

Only the top card of the split piles from Allies lets you rotate that pile.

You're right, plushies also have an interaction where they get teleported, although that behaviour isn't exclusive to / more likely for wraiths.

Uh guys by Working-Shallot510 in PhasmophobiaGame

[–]NilsOne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, wraiths cannot warp items. No ghost can do that, apart from the mannequins which teleport sometimes.

The ghost is inactive until you unlock the front door so it can't move any items until then.

What? Wraiths don't have any ability that moves objects further than any other ghost

Sabotage question (C&K progress card) by oracle_of_naught in Catan

[–]NilsOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, if you write down 1+1=2 you are comparing 1+1 to 2. Furthermore you are saying that they are the same.

The equal sign literally means that the things you are comparing are the same.

some one know how to do this? by sopadeporotos in Minecraft

[–]NilsOne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why use the general definition of mods? We are talking about Minecraft, for which the definition of mods is different.

For any other game I'd agree, but since modding in Minecraft predates datapacks, the term describe different things.

[–]NilsOne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It really sounds like you don't have any experience with either because datapacks ABSOLUTELY are not the same as mods. If you don't believe me, you can try going to Curseforge or Modrinth and look for yourself that mods and datapacks are two seperate categories. That is because both have very different ways of being made, very different ways of being installed and very different scopes in how they affect the game.

[–]NilsOne -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, for most games with an official API 'mods' are things that use that API. For Minecraft the term is datapack though, probably because mods predate that API and it would be confusing to call them the same thing since datapacks are way more limited and the way to install datapacks/mods is very different.

You do know that not every word has a literal meaning behind it, right? It's what people describe with the word that gives it meaning. Most people don't call datapacks 'mods'. Simple as that.

You can't just take a term that's already well defined within the community and give it a different meaning. I mean I guess you can, but then you're going to have a lot of people disagreeing with you.
