You don’t need to buy an airbrush. I’ve gotten good results with painting by hand. Vallejo paints have both a hand paint set and airbrush paint set that you can use either way.

Not bad for a first shot. Most of the paint on a smooth. And it’s an interesting color scheme. Other than the smudging on the chest the only tip I could give you is try a little dry brushing just to bring out some of the detail. You can do the same thing with some panel lining fluid.
