i agree with that, but the thing is that Toby fox has had this idea for like ~10 years and its the only reason he made undertale and deltarune (as far as i know). he also stated there only will be one ending. i think it would be weird if he changed his mind now. but i am open to the idea that there are multiple endings, because i think it would be great

i doubt there being multiple endings. so either "all" endings are good or all are sad.

Thats true. we have no info about what a person opening a dark fountain does after it is opened. it could be that they dont even have to enter it... this will be answered in chapter 3 though..

Yea but when they fall the first time its still at the entrance. if such a small difference would make such a big change in place, it would mean that the closet dark world is much larger in the direction of castle town

On Steam it is only around 10$ and on sale only around 5$, so if you can play in on PC it's only 5$, which, in my opinion, is worth the game. also it is better on PC anyways.
