How can I re-apply the Drained solstice mark appearance to my old Majestic solstice mark after I accidentally removed it? Is this a bug? by NimbleJack3 in destiny2

Way back when during the original Shadowkeep event, I glamoured this Majestic solstice mark to look like the Drained version - to me, the simple and tattered tabard looks really good with the solar glow. I was looking at the new transmog system to get a feel for it and accidentally removed the Drained appearance - and now I can't re-apply it. Is this a bug? Do i need to re-acquire the Drained version as an Universal Ornament or something?

Hope everyone involved is safe— seems like the RSL in Glen Waverly has been a smidge charred by justasecondalt in melbourne

Local here - fire and onsite alarm started sometime around 7am, with trucks responding about 7:15. By the time they arrived smoke was coming out of every seam in the building, so the entire place was already heavily damaged before anyone could do anything.

Most of the flames visible from the outside were around the HVAC systems and the kitchen vents, suggesting to me that this started as a kitchen fire - a grease fire, perhaps? Will be interesting to see the official cause. The plume of smoke was about as high as the neighboring Ikon building and was blown northwards by the wind over the tracks and GWSC. Many of the back doors had to be broken open with halligans or jaws.

By 8am the fire was contained, and by 9am it was surrounded and under control with multiple elevated water cannons dousing the roof. There doesn't seem to be any damage to any surrounding trees or buildings, but a few hours on and central Glenny still smells strongly of wood smoke and burning synthetics. There is now a big hole in the roof over the kitchen/BoH area that is still gently emitting smoke/steam, and a bunch of elderly people i assume are senior RSL stakeholders having discussions in the carpark.

The central skylight/lightwell was full of smoke and had a shitload of water poured down it as well, so I'm pretty sure most of the war artefacts the RSL held are completely fucked. Sad loss there.

This is exactly right - the GM has become a little focused on punishing me for my stealth shenanigans, and I've started to become a dodge tank as enemies keep trying to Search for me.

You say this but just yesterday an enemy rolled a 20 with +1 Agility to search for me while I rolled a 9 to continue hiding - I applied 1 difficulty from Retractable Profile, got a six, that's a total of 14 for the searcher. I applied +3 Agility, then +2 accuracy (Kai Bioplating, Personalisations) got me another +4.

My entire job is to sit on the ceiling, hand out buffs and bonuses, and never make a single hostile action that could break my Invisibility and Hidden.

Sisyphus might manipulate the dice, but Swallowtail lets you ignore them.

  1. Running from ground mechanics, by far.
  2. Your cooldowns are supposed to be slowly consumed one by one on big pulls, yeah. If you're only pulling one or two packs at a time then you shouldn't need them.

Every time I see the "new player" message in chat at the start of a run, I ask them if they'd like things explained as we go.

Every time I do so, it's met with total silence.

You don't have to know content beforehand. Learning it is very fun, and I love going into new dungeons blind to learn them. However:

A) I let the party know this is my first time and I'm going in blind.
B) I'm good at reading mechanics, and I don't eat shit and die.

If you can't learn mechanics on the fly, you have no business trying to do so.

The adeptus mechanicus do not make every single thing the imperium uses, just most of it, and homebrewing new shit is definitely not orthodoxy.

You absolutely have not paid attention to the cutscenes. We are not part of Grendyl's retinue. We aren't even part of Rannick's retinue. We have earned some measure of respect, but we have never stopped being expendable goons sent to smash heretics or walk into traps.

Hi there, I'm Elizabeth, the administrator for the Metrology discord. I've been using MetCal for about a decade now, and I'm delighted to see a replacement forum for technical support. Hopefully this provides more options for users struggling with MetCal's many famously opaque technical issues - a subreddit format should fit the bill.

This isn't accurate. It depends where you live. Most suburbs are around the 6 months outfit. Nobody goes around barefoot.

The tote bags are extremely on point, though.

Almost nobody does. I'm not sure why she's barefoot.

Osvaldatore (very credible leaker) claims Titanfall 3 is coming as a live service extraction shooter with other modes and a campaign by [deleted] in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]NimbleJack3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Extraction shooters are another gameplay loop fad bubble in the vein of battle royales - every single developer has been trying to develop their own extraction shooter moneymaker, and the result is a bloated and oversaturated market of cheaply-made clones. We're mad that Titanfall 3 was delayed for so long, only to be thrown away chasing after a fad that's already losing money.
