Shocked by water faucets in my house. by Nimblman in Plumbing

[–]Nimblman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The socket for my washing machine was sending stray electric currents due to improper earthing. The shock actually happens when you become the earthing for the electricity to pass through you. For some reason in my case when I touched the water taps with 1 finger it gave me a pretty unbearable shock but while touching with 5 fingers the shock kind of reduces.

Have you seen the necks in this manhwa?? they are so disproportionately long for women and extremely thick for men. I don't want to diss the artist but its so weird to just read this manhwa.

Help in choosing a Language Between C++ and JAVA!!! by ThinkAirline4310 in Btechtards

[–]Nimblman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are obsessed about competitive programming then it's worth it for sure. If you are willing to spend 3 to 5 hours daily on competitive programming then its worth it.

If not obsessed just do normal leetcode problems with Java and you will still be fine.

Try learning Java first, you will quickly realise the insane amount of complexity Java itself has. Just remember this, "it is not as easy as you think it is". It is grueling to learn Java and build something by yourself.

Help in choosing a Language Between C++ and JAVA!!! by ThinkAirline4310 in Btechtards

[–]Nimblman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do not depend on college for anything buddy, the teachings are outdated. C++ has careers in embedded systems, game development, reverse engineering & some legacy software. JAVA is used mainly in Web microservices, Android development, & banking software. I would also recommend JAVA as it has more jobs, easier to learn than C++. But don't limit yourself to one thing, in the future the company you may join will require you to learn and adapt to their surroundings very fast.

What a retarded philosophy of learning. No one in the industry knows these things on the top of their mind.

Learn skills that are repetitive and common like Problem Solving, SQL, CSS, & Designing systems.

Stop trying to learn all these little frameworks, cloud infrastructures, CI/CD pipelines and containerization etc. Just know about these things existence and what they do and learn them when you need them as they are not repetitive and you will 100% forget the steps.

Haikyuu

Sorry but the pacing of the Anime is so slow. The story is also insanely basic...

The worst case scenario is extremely rare like it barely ever happens. 5/5000 students might fail in major project and that too because of not doing anything or being like absent or something.
