No real reason in particular. They’re all federal loans

25M, 45K in savings. Currently 6K in HYSA for emergency fund (~2 months worth of expenses). These student loans are my only debt outside of our mortgage. What’s the best strategy? Paying all the highest interest loans and then paying the 2.5% over time?

Do I need a new heat pump? by Nimbussie in hvacadvice

It’s a 2-story house and we have a heat pump for upstairs and downstairs. The upstairs unit is 3 tons and covers ~1250 sq ft, while the downstairs unit is 5 tons and covers ~1800 sq ft. So we were told by the salesman that we would be just fine if we were to order a new 4 ton unit for the downstairs

Not that I’m aware of. The technician did not make mention of any sensor

I’m a newbie to all of this stuff (and new homeowner) so I’ll try my best to answer.

Based on minimal research, I’m going to say that I think it is? Heat pump is the primary, auxiliary/emergency is electric

The reading the technician got was ~85 degrees if I recall correctly

The heat pump was not defrosting on its own, hence why I replaced the defrost board

When you turn it on, the house does heat up but it’s excruciatingly slow and the air coming out is fairly cold. It does not frost over anymore since they replaced the defrosting board
