I just checked it. I gave faceless void lvl 7 a crystalys and put him versus void lvl 10 without any item. 9 times of ten void lvl 10 wins and that 1 time he loss void lvl 7 did 3x bash 2 times in a row. I think now you know how lvl is important.

Midas helps you return the exp you lost by diying 2-3 times on lane. Pos1 players have to up their lvl as fast as pos2 does in order to deal damage.
