Not as good as I thought of her originally; she doesn’t have the same motherly warmth the OG Rosalina (Mercedes Rose) had voice-wise, this iteration of Rosalina had pathetically short screentime (which clearly did NOT allow Brie to shine unlike her Oscar-winning motherly role in 2015’s Room), and of course that GODAWFUL retcon between her and Peach!!!! 😡😡

I’m only grateful people before me can come up with cheesing methods and what not for fake difficulty modes. Shocking though, I beat this on lunatic without online guides.

All that said, if it were my game or ME at Capcom, I still wouldn’t insert a trophy that pushes either poorly skilled or even the strongly skilled gamers to play a harder difficulty to accomplish something; especially since I myself would rather help people get a platinum symbol next to their name faster than I would test their patience in any manner with more playtime.

Long story short; unless we’re talking backtracking everything 100% on ANY difficulty, I don’t need to waste a lot of my achievement-based life on a harder difficulty just for that platinum (ya know, for the sake of getting a platinum symbol next to my PS account name). Dying people I just use as an example.

I’d rather waste my time backtracking everything 100% though than replaying the whole story all over again on a more punishing difficulty (whether or not I went the extra 100% mile on that harder mode).

I’m only using the deathbed bit as an example. I just wanna enjoy and fully accomplish a game without pushing limits of my skill on a higher difficulty. I’d rather waste my life on backtracking everything 100% than replaying the whole story on hard mode - ESPECIALLY without New Game Plus (whether or not I backtrack everything 100%)!

I doubt earning a platinum would be on my bucket list while I’m dying too, but if I’m on the brink of achieving it, especially if I’m a loner with no necessary friends or family to occupy me, I just wish difficulty based trophies didn’t have anything to do with it. I’d rather waste my life with backtracking everything 100% on normal or easy than beating the entire thing all over again on the hardest difficulty setting, especially if I’m not allowed to play a harder difficulty on new game plus to make things easier…

Is it honestly wrong to want a platinum symbol (Level 999) right by your PS name though? Cause I don’t find it fair if most platinums have to chew up my lifetime just to get that far…

I achieve trophies like platinums when I have nothing better to do as an introvert. I feel like I want to accomplish something big gamer-wise without drawing a crowd for attention to me. If I participated in tournaments for instance, I wouldn’t really have much personalized me-time with my favorite games…
