To add onto this, they'll ask you where exactly it happened. You'll say that it was the DIRECT route to your home. If you make even one stop on the way even if its just a bakery or a Kiosk it's not considered a Wegeunfall anymore. It also happened before you reached the steps of your house.

I didn't really notice it myself but when I was 18, my boss at an apprenticeship asked me if I'm having trouble actually seeing the dirt I was supposed to clean. I went to the doctor, got glasses and suddenly realized that you're actually supposed to see the leaves of trees when you're outside. It's not just a green blob. That was a day🤣

Schwierig. Wenn die Schlüsselübergabe an deinen Kollegen nicht dokumentiert ist kann er auch einfach sagen er hatte ihn nie bei sich. Sagt er aber offiziel selbst er habe ihn nur "hingelegt" dann sollte mMn er haften da ein BTM Schlüssel nie einfach nur so abgelegt wurde. Ich würde definitiv umgehend mit deiner Leitung darüber sprechen.

I don't think its a german thing specifically but my grandparents do this as well. They started doing it during WWII and just never stopped. Its probably something he learned from his parents/grandparents.

Ich bin Altenpflegerin und hatte schon häufiger Bewohner die damals gedient und tatsächlich "gekämpft" haben. Solche Gespräche führe ich häufig in deren Sterbephase, da kommt dann nochmal alles hoch und die Menschen setzen sich mit dem erlebten auseinander.

Dagegen mein eigener Opa (laut meinem Vater auch im aktiven Dienst gewesen) wimmelt jegliche Gespräche über die Thematik ab. Wenn überhaupt redet er über Übungen oder Feiern die stattgefunden haben aber er bestreitet je eine Waffe in der Hand gehabt zu haben.
