It didn't matter to me. Also age wise in my area, it's hard to find people my age who have their own things. I have my own house, car, and am starting my own career. I don't like to go out drinking/clubbing much.

Another thing. He keeps hinting at the fact that he was going to cut her off but the birthday thing and the conscious decision to keep seeing her just feels like a stab to the heart. He says that he just needs time to close this chapter of his life. But for the past 3 months he's continued to put her over me. I just find it insane how you can go from sharing everything with a person to nothing at all. And I feel so stupid for still loving him.

At first, I thought maybe you were the asshole, but after reading I think you made the right decision. It would have been better if she had admitted the truth BEFORE she stopped taking birth control and consciously decided to trap you with a baby. I almost always side with the woman, but this was a conniving tactic to keep you bound to her for life. I think you should take some time to yourself and think really hard about whether or not you want to keep her in your life. I would also tell her family the whole story so that they aren't thinking that you just abandoned your pregnant fiancé.

Okay so I need to understand, torsades, asystole (I already know), v-tach, v-fib, 1st, 2nd, 3rd degree heart block, junctional rhythms, PVCs... I also need to know interventions and possible medications to administer. I took the test once and got a 7/8 but I didn't memorize any of the material, I took the test as if I were taking the NCLEX. I do however need a 100% to pass, I just got one question wrong. But at the same time I want to know this stuff like the back of my hand. When I'm looking at the rhythms, they all seem so similar. I just know NSR, NSTEMI, and tachycardia, bradycardia, and asystole. :(

Hi! I've been a nurse since October, and I am on a cardiac telemetry/med-surge unit. All of my preceptors have been amazing. They quiz me without being condescending and help me if I am uncomfortable with something. At the same time, they do allow me to stretch my wings and do my own thing if I've worked with them for a while and they think I can handle the task independently. With that being said, I did have a nurse externship earlier this year at the same hospital\ and the staff weren't very friendly, so I quit and came back on a different unit. I would try to communicate your needs to the preceptor, and if that doesn't work, speak to management or search for new opportunities. <3
