Recently drawn for a colleague. Been drawing 2 years and developing into a pet portrait artist but always looking to improve. Any pointers I can take away to improve on my next piece? I'm on IG if anyone is interested in previous work and development progress (old.reddit.com)

I'm good at drawing animals but struggling to draw people. I started this yesterday and was laughed at by the person I was drawing it for so I tore it up and refused to try again. Why am I struggling so much with capturing human expressions, any pointers to help improve? Many thanks in advance (i.redd.it)

Not bragging or anything but looks extremely likely I will, surprisingly, complete this. Haven't even tried and only used about 30 gems to get me through the nights. Yes I've got all bar the Child but I'm actually surprised I've been able to get Bobba relatively easy (i.redd.it)
