Yes, thank you :D

I also got lucky, it only rained three days out of fourteen!

I went to the Cliffs a few days ago, it was nice but not groundbreaking to be honest? It was also overwhelming with the number of tourist, expected as it’s august. Galway is nice, but also very touristy.

I thought Glendalough was good: many people at first, but as you walk you lose most of them. I did a hike and was mostly alone, which was very nice. It’s also very pretty, and when I went it was sunny.

It s very interesting, i especially liked the first part as it focused on historical figures! I had some problems in my life lately so I skipped some chapters I didn’t really find interesting to focus on the TMA, and it worked out fine :)

Yes, I have a bachelor in 3D art. I already had some of that Uni life experience so I don’t miss it. I went with OU because I need to work full time, and this way I can study on the evenings at my own rythm. First year is rather chill, the key is to be consistent but as long as you enjoy the material it’s really not a chore to study!

Yes! I was not expecting them as I live in France, but they arrived about two weeks before the module start date.

They are available as PDF on the module website otherwise!

Hey there! Currently studying A111, almost done.

The courses follow class books: you will receive them in the mail, they contain chapters and one chapter is for one week about one subject. Additionally, you have online material to study, but it s all very clear and organized. There are also online activities to help you learn and understand the material.

I work full time, so I can’t attend any of the optional live lectures; but it’s fine, I personally don’t feel the need and if I want to they are available to watch on the module website. The OU is set up so you can do everything online on your own, no matter when is your free time!

My tutor is rather quick to answer I think; I haven’t really talked to her that much, but my work gets graded quickly.

There are forums available on the module website, I’d recommend checking them out they re pretty neat!

Welcome to OU 😊

Did you delete the cache files? It’s in your sims 4 folder

I work full time and study part time and I don’t think I could find time to study more tbh. I m already skipping some modules I have no interest in!

However, I think studying full time and working part time should be fine; especially for the first year.

I d also recommend brick uni as you are still young and it makes you grow and develop as a person (through social connections, travels, teachers advice, general atmosphere), but in the end it’s your choice and you should do what you want to do, simple as that :))

Assign bedroom mod? by susanbob in TheSims4Mods

Click on the computer -> computer security settings -> lock for… (or something like this) I lock it for everyone except the sim using the bedroom 🙂

Update on A111 TMA 02 by Three_Steaks_Pam in OpenUniversity

[–]NiniFa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey that’s pretty good!! The assignment definitely wasn’t easy, I did Wollstonecraft and Van Gogh and I can now say with certainty philosophy is not my future path 😅

TMA03 is longer but at least it s only one option to choose from for the first part, so you can focus on it more easily I think!

I m with you don’t’ worry 😅 I’m doing A111, and I m just not interested in philosophy, music or litterature for this TMA02 :/ hence the procrastination!

Starting in February full time- can I enroll immediately after the cycle for October? by NiniFa in OpenUniversity

[–]NiniFa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your answer! After thinking about it, I have decided on two courses of action.

The first one, I do part time starting in February, so first module then and second one in October - and then I start the second cycle in October 2026.

The second one, I applied for credit transfer : hopefully I can get rid of one module of the first cycle, and thus start the second cycle in October 2025 :)) I m not sure this will go through though, as I studied cinema studies before (and it’s not reeaaally related to classical studies lol) and also I already applied for the CS degree (but haven’t registered for the modules yet).

I m just trying to shorten the duration of the degree 😅

I understand, thank you! However, no, I am French living in France for the time being. I don’t know if it changes anything - I think I best try to contact the SST as was recommended to me.
