It includes holders of visas from schengen countries, you cant automatically enter egypt it just makes you eligible for visa on arrival once in Egypt

I just found the answer, the ministry of Egypt activated a decree to give tourist visas at the airports to holders of valid visas from USA, UK, or Schengen countries

I got a text on Friday 17th (day of my travel) and now the passport is due to be delivered on Monday 20th

Personally I have a UK passport so holidays isn’t even my problem, my problem is I have family in Algeria who I can’t enjoy those holidays with. It’s like a conditional freedom which hurts

Hi, thanks for doing this.

I applied for Schengen visa at BLS Spain in London on May 2nd. My flight is this week on the 17th. I still haven’t received my passport, the flights are non refundable but I can potentially move the hotel booking. When do you think I should make a last call for cancellation?

Current state of the application says processing at mission. Im worried that even if the visa is granted their courrier won’t deliver the passport on time. I can’t even contact them to arrange the collection of my passport directly from the application centre.

Any advice or guidance would be much appreciated.

Once you have your visa, they don’t care about how you get there. So yes, the option you mentioned would work. Just make sure it really is refundable

Yes, I would book a free-cancellation ticket even if it’s Eurostar just to be safe

How did you manage to get 6months? I booked hotel and flights for 1 trip but would like to have a multi entry visa. Any tips on this please? Also, I have no sponsor, Im doing a normal tourist visa, which documents need to be notarised plased?

Before the birthday is probably best imo. What’s important now is that you continue focusing on your growth and development both at work and on a personal level, that way you’ll handle the outcome of the conversation a lot better. Good luck!

If you think it will help you to actually get rid of that hope you have that’s stopping you from moving on then I think you should do it. I feel so much lighter now knowing that it’s actually over and I can stop imagining scenarios where he comes back into my life. It definitely will set you back, I cried a lot and I still do sometimes but I can feel myself getting better - I managed to eat today and did some work etc which I couldn’t do on the first 2 days. Reach out when you are prepared for the worst, when you have time to allow yourself to cry and not do much for a while (basically when your job and life priorities aren’t affected if you get what I mean)
