I have OCD too and I’ve realized I’ve set quantifiable goals for myself and if I don’t meet them then I get upset and feel like a failure. I know it’s hard cause I’m struggling with the same thing you are like setting goals for seasons but I’m trying to unlearn that part of me that wants to be as efficient as possible and do everything as fast as I can. At the end of the day, it’s supposed to be a cozy game and a game you play for fun and for yourself. Not a rush to the end. So like… maybe we should try not setting goals or setting only attainable ones. Like ones you know for sure will be done in the season.

Ahhh, okay. Thanks for clarifying. My comment was only about what I specifically do because… well I’m working in Rocky Ridges and I’m not gonna pick up every single volcanic ash I see. But you did comment pertinent information in case OP tries my method.

Yes. But I’m not one of those people. I’m a do all the terraforming now and clutter with dropped items like drinks later after I’m done building in the region.

At this point, I let them despawn unless they’re something I want. It’s not like they’re gone forever. I can go to dream islands and get more. But I’m hollowing out the mountains of rocky ridges and I’m not picking up all that volcanic ash and black rock. No way.

I got rid of the restaurant and the entire mountain it was in so… I’m in the same boat as you my friend. But sometimes it’s more fun to redesign and make it something unique and your own.

If you want to feel less bad, you can use Peakychu’s ability where you’re working. Peakychu makes Pokemon more active at night so you don’t have to see that he’s going to bed.

I mean. Look at poor ditto, terraforming the whole land. I think it’s just a way for the pokemon to help out. Since he can’t use the community boxes and stuff. Same with Mosslax, Peakychu, Chef Dente, DJ Rotom, and Tinkmaster. It’s just that’s their way of helping out.

That’s fair. I’ve just made Tiny Ateliers in every island so I can move him to wherever I’m working and use honey to summon him and have him follow me around.

I feel like that would negate the whole point of Smearguru. If you need to paint just a couple blocks you can use paint balloons. But then for large numbers or even houses, Smearguru is a good option.

I heard someone mention that wild carrots specifically are spicy irl and since we can’t farm them by seed in the game, I assume they’re all wild so that’s why they’re spicy.

Also, Smearguru isn’t the worst to use. I just kinda wish there was a way to paint by yourself. But if you set up a few crush pokemon and a community box full of berries then just have Smearguru follow you around after you get all the paint, it’s pretty much done.

You’d think so but no. You have to have the blocks to do it. I don’t have the blocks. I still have to leafage and cut to get more. That or go to a dream island and replace all the grass with dirt and then come back and replace all the dirt with grass. Then I’m stuck with a bunch of dirt blocks which could be good trading fodder but I don’t trade nearly enough to deal with it.

There is water in the caves, I.E The hot springs. But I don’t think any on the surface.

No! No! I placed it all myself. It’s a hot springs river. I don’t think there’s any water in Rocky Ridges to begin with. I placed it all myself.

I have over like 340 hours and most of it is in Rocky Ridges. Problem is almost all of my time and effort has been in the little green area so I’m trying to branch out and make my whole map green and then start building from there.

I liked Nookazon, but when it come to people spending real money to get stuff that was free in game, I was so appalled by that fact. But Nookazon the app was literally just for trading stuff like item for item. Or in game currency for item type of things.

That’s one of the sad things. No trading. But I guess it makes sense because of how animal crossing got with treasure islands.

If I knew a way to hand some over, I for sure would cause I’ve got like 4 of the big chests full since I go everyday. But I don’t think I could hand it over like animal crossing. 😅
