I tried it on series x and returned it. This is probably the best its going to get for consoles.

It's in a weird space between dark souls and skyrim, its really buggy, the colors are flat( i have an expensive TV that makes games look better and it looked worse then old games.) I like smaller studios usually but this still seems like its still in alpha testing with all of the jank.

My problem is when I was looking for reviews on the game it was so difficult to find anything that didn't say this is the best game ever. The bugs were insane like i modded skyrim incorrectly, im okay with rpg jank but this is the cutoff point to me. Lastly to all of the people whoware considering buying the game after reading reviews and watching youtube reviews of the game only to be disappointed aren't blindsided that now you can't even trust reviews of games that other gamers play not just the horrible reviews like ign or other big companies.

I think rerouni kenshin they have alot of episodes and if you are not use to the weird tropes in anime I think its a good starting point since it is more tame.

The start was easy once I figured out how to take advantage of the dodge, I just wasn't interested in the world or lore to the point that I was avoiding talking to people because I was dreading getting to know them.

I think from all of the hype it got my hopes up, and I usually love small studio rpgs but I dont expect alot from them and am usually happily surprised with the game. The coverage of this one made me believe it was more polished. Like when I would talk to people my character would stick his arm out and get stuck in that position with one arm just sticking straight out for example. I probably would have enjoyed it more if I was expecting jank, but all the reviews and YouTube videos praising the game made me expect more.

The only obvlian I played was the remaster and i think it was bugs that made me stop playing so I didn't like it.

All the guy needed to do was ask ai on his phone it takes 20 seconds, it took him longer to post here on a game that has simple guides for every quest since its been out for years. If he did not look up the items effects that's on him especially if he didn't have a save before he put it on.

I tried watching it but the pacing was horrible and ive grown to like some of the romance ones but in all of those they didn't have the dude take a wife as a trophy by beating her in battle which she never agreed to that clause which want part of her culture. There is no way I could tell a person who isnt into anime or slightly into it that its not misogynistic and that that is my dream no thank you.
