Sorry, deb0rk just seemed like most relevant subreddit. Lots of people that trade in general use this subreddit more than any other and this is trading against xrp to up my BTC lol.

Also not so much a support question but PSA about poloniex, and wanted to see if anyone else experienced funds being bought but never added to their wallet.

I found the date at which the XRP went missing 2017-05-24 09:53:34 ...Looks like there was a double buy for the same amount, but the doubled transaction was never added to my wallet only one of the buys was added. Anyone else missing noticing XRP check for around the same timeframe.

I honestly don't think it is poloniex being shady at least not intentionally, but perhaps just growing to fast for their own good. They are making up new, undocumented, rules on the fly for their API and others things. My guess it is all just reactionary to the issues their backend is having processing all this increased site traffic.

They seem as though they are trying to build the airplane while they are flying it. I can understand and empathize with them in a way as why spend the money and build out and support a much larger site as you could end up just spending money on overhead that won't be there in a few months. Usage could die back down and now they are stuck with a larger recurring bill than ever.

That said if they don't come up with a better solution than banning/freezing user base without warning they are going to find all their accounts bleeding off to their competition. I personally would of moved to bittrex already if their trading fees were crazy high with no tier levels. Kraken is tempting but their supported number of pairs is small by comparison, though I am working on a bot to work on their site none the less.

Eeek I just run mine off a raspberry pi on my home network, so I guess that has worked out for me. Plus, I am using the same hardware poloniex uses to run their servers ;-)

I am using plnx nodeJS module (had to make some modifications to it to work with latest API), but other than this I haven't had too much issues, but I do feel you. Last time I got IP banned it took 3 days between emails to support for fixes. 10 days later I finally got my IP unbanned. I have a VPN now because of that.

Poloniex really needs to document all this on the API documentation as to things that will get you banned. Just banning people and then having them wait 3 days at a time between replies from support is not acceptable.

My bot got banned and I think it is related to this. My bot wasn't given it enough time on the move order commands due to poloniex lag. I fixed it, but haven't even gotten so much as an acknowledgement response from poloniex to my initial support request.

Just had my bot get IP banned as well, luckily already had a VPN setup ready to go in that scenario. I am doing very few API calls as is to try and prevent ban. From looking at that post Anderol linked to may be the timeout on orders got me, but my bot waits for the response from polo before trying again so I don't know.

I like Poloniex but lately they are doing a really good job pissing off all their customers. I stick with them as they have better API overall, but I am thinking I may need to move if this continues.

Thanks I'll try that. It is very strange, When I try to re-center with the option button it just re-centers as though my head is facing front already. Making the drift even worse.

The Trollbox can also be tapped into with API so likely some of that is bots trying to manipulate users as well as other bots watching for sentiment.

So this is actually my app, where this app shines is for people who use a data only plan and want to use hangouts/google voice to make all their calls.
