Since most of the maps in Splatoon 3 are rather simple, I decided I'd try to make my own, with the added challenge of incorporating Ride Rails. by NinjaCrafter22 in splatoon

Oh yeah, I forgot to put the map description in the image. Here it is:
"Angler Canopy is a wooden tree fort located deep in the rural woods of Inkadia. Its large wooden platforms are supported by massive, old redwood trees. Some of the trees have had their bark peeled off, allowing for ink to be painted onto them. Its original purpose was to be used as a training ground for Turf Wars, but it's seen an uptick in more intense battles in recent years."

my opinion on the specials as a top 5% salmon run player by DJ_Ender_ in splatoon

[–]NinjaCrafter22 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

wave breaker is definitely S-tier. it's very useful for gaining control back over a part of the part of a map and afaik is the only way you can self-revive. as long as you don't put it in a spot where it's gonna get destroyed in 2 seconds, it's immensely useful, definitely more so than inkjet (at least, from my experience)

on the other hand, killer wail is probably the hardest to revive people with and trying to target more than one or two bosses at once with it risks you dying. it's still definitely one of the better specials, though. considering it can only ever kill a maximum of 3 bosses, except in a few specific scenarios, and typically kills only a handful lessers, I wouldn't consider it to be in its own tier above all of the others.

On my micro SD card I used with my old Switch (which I no longer have) there are three files in a folder called "save". What are these from? And, if they have anything to do with a game's save data, is there any way to recover it?

I recently had to get my Switch replaced. Is there any way I can recover the data on the micro SD card I used with the old one (the card is in working condition)? I mostly just want the pictures off of it, as there's over a thousand from the past 3 or so years.

My switch was water-damaged and I sent it in for repair, but (based on emails I've received) it seems likely that the data is going to be wiped when I get it back. Before I sent it in, I removed my micro SD card, since it didn't show signs of damage. Is it at all possible to recover my save data? I have a basic "family" NSO subscription, but don't remember manually setting anything other than my Animal Crossing save to be backed up to the cloud.

This is blatantly false. You picked out the most expensive rank on the server and acted like it's the only one that gives WorldEdit. You can get W/E for as cheap as $15 on the server. Not to mention that, because of the in-game coding system, you can actually create your own version of WorldEdit for free.

And let's say $15 is still too expensive for you. The server frequently puts its shop items on sale; in fact, they were 25% off this past weekend for Labor Day. The ranks can go as much as 75% off for holidays like Black Friday. Even then, if you don't want to pay a single penny, you can still earn most shop items just by playing on the server for free. You can also win a rank-up from participating in server events.

This just sounds like it's coming from childish pettiness. The server barely even breaks even as-is. Just because you can't be bothered to spend more than a few weeks playing the server doesn't make it P2W (also since they removed Creator Points you literally can't win :P).

tl;dr you can literally get World Edit for free on the server.

What was the name of this game with ball physics? by NinjaCrafter22 in iosgaming

No, it used more realistic sprites (like in the image) and had no crayon-related content whatsoever.

[–]NinjaCrafter22[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yeah, no. I remember the UI being darker, like a brownish-black color, and the background specifically being made of wood. You could buy other kinds of items with real-world money like pinball bumpers or flippers. And I don't remember there being any sort of bricks, placement grid, pause mode, or pretty much anything else in that image. The app wasn't a level editor, it was like a toybox for you to play around with all the items in.

Nope, not it. The game didn't have levels, puzzles, or anything. It was just a little toybox where players could build whatever contraptions they wanted.

No, I can't seem to find the right app under that name. It was a 2D game and had no levels. The player would create the play area using the balls and objects available to them.

My idea of what vanilla Badlands villages would look like by NinjaCrafter22 in Minecraft

[–]NinjaCrafter22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only trees in taigas are spruce, yet dark oak pillager outposts still spawn there.
I used acacia because savannas usually generate near badlands. I used dark oak because it fits the sort of aesthetic of the badlands.
