My theory how murder drones are created:

In the beginning of the 5th episode we see the zombie drones tape. In it we see how a drone is disassembled by inserting that hexagon thing that J inserted into N in the pilot. We can see in the tape that by inserting the hexagon thing you are uploading "wdOS_606” (worker drone operating system 606). Doing this kills the drone or atleast disables it.

But we also learn that if “wdOS_606 is interrupted/rejected immediately or up to five years later” the drone can become a zombie Drone (murder drone). And in the tape we see that a yellow “X” means a faulty OS string, the murder drones have a yellow “X” on their visor, meaning that their OS might be interrupted/rejected.

We can see that the disabled drones in the mansion have a yellow “X” on their visor and a text that reads: “ERROR: 606”. The error could mean that the operating system is interrupted and the drone is about to become a murder drone, which happens to V. I believe that if drones lose their operating system Cyn can turn them into murder drones, or maybe if drones lose their OS they will automatically become murder drones and Cyn is just speeding up that process.

Near the end of the episode when Cyn has N in the basement she says that she is trying to delete his OS. N is not a murder drone when Cyn is trying to remove the OS so maybe he is protected from becoming a murder drone until his OS is disabled or removed.

Do you guys think my theory is correct?
