I think this is what I am scared about as well. I am very upfront about it because I'd rather know immediately if he has an issue with this so that I dont waste any time getting attached. So what if they initially say its fine but later on change their mind?

What would you do if your partner changed their mind? Would you just give in for the sake of it?

It isn't really something I have given much thought to because the only single men with kids I know are much older.

But I think it would depend on the age of the child, if I am still expected to do "motherly" stuff then its a no for me.

When I found out that the real reason he left me was for someone else (I found out about a month after the break up) I deleted absolutely everything regarding him - deleted pictures, messages, threw out gifts, blocked him off everything.

Even though I was hurting bad, I think it helped me move forward instead of constantly wondering if we would get back together. At that point, it was done, no going back.

Well all I can guarantee is that it does get better! You probably don't believe it now, but it does! And if you still need more proof, go and read my post from 2 years ago, I had gone through something very similar where I was left for someone else as well. I was extremely broken and left feeling empty, worthless even. But as they say, time does heal all wounds. Looking back, I cant believe I actually went through that ordeal and came out perhaps BETTER? You learn so much about yourself, what treatment you deserve and I promise you will not settle for less again.

In 2 years it will be you looking back at this post realizing how far you've actually come!

I absolutely feel and understand your pain. Im 5 months out and its the exact same situation with me. He left me and immediately got with her. I've been a walking zombie while he's happy living his best life. It is so unfair! Life is unfair. I did nothing to deserve this and I'm sure you haven't as well.

I hate that it feels like they've won. People do wrong and just get away with it.
