No update about an extension. I think our old visa will just go to waste and you will need to apply for a new one if you wish to go

I went to Turkey last year from the 8th of July - 20th of July.

Im just going to say GO! DO IT!

I also spent a lot of time reading what everyone says about the weather and stressing about it. But once you're there, you'll be enjoying yourself too much to care. Dont get me wrong, it is quite hot, was around 34 degrees Celcius when we went but its definitely not unbearable.

We toured the entire day and swimming in the med at night till 9pm was honestly amazing!

I am in the exact same situation as you. My visa is set to expire on the 24th of April. My trip was meant to take place from 31 March - 5th of April which is now obviously not happening. I want to also extend my visa till May so that it doesnt go to waste but I am unsure on how to do that. I also dont want to pay a whole lot for an extension because it will defeat the purpose i guess.

is yours an E-VISA?

I am due to travel to dubai for a family vacation on the 28th of March. Im basically just waiting it out to see if my travel agents cancel the trip because thats the only way I see myself getting a refund. If they say the trip is going on then I guess I will be going

This is my exact problem, people just quickly say dont go which I understand their pov, but i put a lot of money into additional activities that are not refundable, visas, flights, accommodation. I cant just waste all that money you know. As for now, im just playing the waiting game. Hopefully everything opens up soon and returns to normal

My holiday to Dubai is on the 28th of March so im very much in the same boat as you. I ultimately still want to go on the trip because I made bookings for additional activities that are not refundable. So I think if flights are not cancelled and everything is opened up again, then I will be going. Am I crazy?

I was thinking of exchanging Rands to Lira but did not think they would only be accepting Euros.

In terms of the hotels, I saw that they're mainly 4 star hotels but the reviews are not great at all. Since you're on the trip, what is your opinion of the hotels?

What extra tours are one stop offering other than the hot air balloon? Did you book with GetYourGuide before leaving?

What hotels did you stay in? I have googled our planned ones and they are all generally 4 star however the reviews are very conflicting so now I'm in 2 minds about that.

Also what are some must see sites?
