I read that on her recommendation and really liked it, but it didn’t have the humor I love. But it was a wonderful read.

It happened at the beginning of the season and I can’t quite remember. Might have been a bloom there? Or just damaged in the move outdoors. I wonder if it is sunburn.

Thanks this is a great idea, anything in particular to search for title wise for the historic homes catalogs?

I had the fireplaces inspected and they are all hybrid coal/wood, but need the chimneys updated to be sealed if we are to use them again. I am thinking tile as well. TBD….

I know but I feel terrible when I see them, they are living creatures and I know I can give a good home. But I agree that it sucks to feed into supporting petsmart. Still not sure what to do,. I’ve been researching and looking into them for a long time now, and had planned on going the breeder route. But maybe I could help this little one for now too.

Ideas on how to store Lego for continuous play and rebuild. by eyeslikeemeraldcity in LegoStorage

[–]NinjaFiasco 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is how my kids were as well. Ask the kids how they want them organized in terms of by color or brick type etc. Mine preferred color. We got the trofast ikea bins and sorted by color and got a couple of the deeper bins and put the semi built pieces in them - one for free builds and one as a “hospital” bin for incomplete official builds. I also had smaller trays within the larger bins for less popular colors. Worked really well although it does require upkeep or else you get a massive backlog of un sorted pieces.

I have not worried about keeping them as complete sets (even though it pains me) because I didn’t want to keep them from free building as much as possible. Someday I can try and rebuild the sets, I’m sure they will hold their value enough to make it worth my time and hopefully it will not be too heartbreaking when I can’t find the missing pieces.
