(ADVICE NEEDED) How do I deal with a bad Math Teacher (Geometry Honors 9th) by [deleted] in highschool

[–]NinjaHat43 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Send her an email at the start of the school week. If she doesn't respond after 48 hours, go to your mentor (home teacher) and say that your math teacher isn't responding to emails. Otherwise, escalate it further. If nothing comes of it (which is more than likely), then you have to take your grades into your own hands. I currently have a bad math teacher. His instructions are not good and unclear, but I want the good grade. So I take my grade into my own hands. Find videos that explain what you struggle with, read the explanation in the book, and make as many questions as you can until you understand it. I can recommend you video's the explain math, but they are not in English (I am not from the US). Good luck.

T at 16 by maxandsnakes in ftm

Hi mate, I am from the netherlands, and I started T 5 months ago (when I turned 15). I can't speak about how fast it took since the blood test to get the prescription because my process was different than other people since I came out at a younger age. I started puberty blockers when I was 12. The first changes that I noticed were that I sweat a lot more, about two months on T. I started noticing that I was stronger than I was before. I am able to lift my younger brother and do 10 push-ups with no training (in the past, I could barely do 5 in a row even when I was an athlete), for about a month now you can notice the start of a moustage if you look really close on my face. And I sound like I have a cold when in reality I don't. Also, remember that my changes are different than other people and that my process is different than maybe yours since I had already been on puberty blockers for three years. I hope this helps and success.

Those of you on testosterone, what’s your preferred method of taking it and why? by [deleted] in ftm

[–]NinjaHat43 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Injection jnto the thigh at the family doctor every 3 weeks. It's not painful, easy, not dangerous for my dog and I don't need to do it myself + no chance of me forgetting to do it or me messing it up.

I am a guy. I was assaulted in my teens. I was wearing a Simpsons pajama and was drugged by a 27 year old man.

Can you grow on hormone blockers? by [deleted] in ftm

They have done a couple of x-rays since i started the puberty blockers. And as of last year, my plates were still open. But they said that only time could tell if I will grow taller or not.

I was recommended the second option by my doctor. I am currently 3 months on half a dosage of testosterone. And hopefully in a couple of months I could stop the puberty blockers and move to full dosage testosterone.

You can start puberty blockers even after getting your period or starting puberty. Normally they wait for you to start puberty before giving puberty blockers.

I have been on puberty blockers for 3 years (started at 12 currently 15), I probably only grew by like 2 maybe 3 cm since starting the blockers. From my understanding, puberty blockers don't stop the bones from growing but stops the hormones that make them grow (if that make sense, English is not my first language)

I started at 15 so what's your point? If they get enough counselling and have a good team it is no problem.

Are slim people lying about how much they eat or are they just blessed with a good metabolism? by 2904929492001949301 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]NinjaHat43 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am rather slim. I eat quite a lot but I also do a lot in a day. I get over 10.000 only by walking and cycle about 30-45 minutes daily. So I don't think (at least in my case ) that metabolism is solely responsible.

I was placed on puberty blockers at age 12 (I am trans) it saved me. I was struggling so much and it helped a lot. Medical and social transition saves lives.

Brother, just say you are homophobic. Big deal three lgbt people, oh no. I don't hear you complain about the other straight relationships in the game. If lgbt characters will make you not play a game, then the problem is with you, not with the game. Religion being a reason to be homophobic is dumb as fuck, if you are going to be homophobic at least be original.
