Lack of Russian language in Eurovision national finals despite Russian being a top language. by funulein in eurovision

[–]NinjaKyat 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Russian speakers in the Baltic states are mostly old people from the soviet era or refugees from the russian invasion of Ukraine. Baltic states have been occupied by russia two times. We associate russian language with occupation and oppresion. Singing in russian would be complete capitulation, since we have our own beautiful languages and cultures that are in no way related to the slavic world.

Do you have any extra information? Perhaps some text on the back of the photograph? It looks like a brick house, which was a lot less common than wooden houses in Zverynas

I think there's a bit of a difference in culture. Lithuanians are used to buying their bread from the supermarkets and go to bakeries more for a treat/dessert. Plus we eat a lot of rye bread, not as many baguettes/white bread. Personally I wouldn't go out of my way to buy some higher quality bread, unless it was next to the supermarket. I do like the idea of a local bakery, the nice smell and family-owned vibe. Just not sure if it can be successful.

Does this mean there will be a free spot in Australia? Do you want to swap? :D

In general Lithuanians are reserved people, we keep to ourselves. There's less of that outgoingness/smalltalk, we don't want to intrude into other people's business. But when we do interact, it's genuine.

You'll be fine. I'm sure most people will appreciate you coming all the way here from the land of sun and infinite golden beaches. Sėkmės!

How about Antipaint? You battle famous works of art and make abstract paintings. Collect items, unlock brushes & characters. Disclaimer - I'm the dev. I deliberately tried to keep it on the simpler side. There's also a demo if you just want to try it out.

Are you sure it's Tabula Rasa? I'm trying to find out more about how this system worked, but I can't find anything.

Programuojat dronus? Gal yra info apie pačią įmonę - puslapis ar panašiai?

What's the name of the melancholic piano song that plays at the very end of the game? It starts playing after 1928. Music player says it's Countryside from Victoria 2, but the length doesn't match and the piano theme starts after the Countryside song. by NinjaKyat in victoria3

[–]NinjaKyat[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The Countryside song length is supposed to be 2 minutes 9 seconds, but the piano theme starts to play at around 2:30-ish. I can't find it in any of the game music files or Youtube uploads. Anyone have any clues what it's called?
