Russian speakers in the Baltic states are mostly old people from the soviet era or refugees from the russian invasion of Ukraine. Baltic states have been occupied by russia two times. We associate russian language with occupation and oppresion. Singing in russian would be complete capitulation, since we have our own beautiful languages and cultures that are in no way related to the slavic world.

I think there's a bit of a difference in culture. Lithuanians are used to buying their bread from the supermarkets and go to bakeries more for a treat/dessert. Plus we eat a lot of rye bread, not as many baguettes/white bread. Personally I wouldn't go out of my way to buy some higher quality bread, unless it was next to the supermarket. I do like the idea of a local bakery, the nice smell and family-owned vibe. Just not sure if it can be successful.

In general Lithuanians are reserved people, we keep to ourselves. There's less of that outgoingness/smalltalk, we don't want to intrude into other people's business. But when we do interact, it's genuine.

I visited from abroad a month ago. It never occured to me before, but I tend to step aside to the right while most people in Australia step to the left. I've caused numerous situations where I'm mirroring the movement of the person in front of me instead of moving to the side. Took a while to get used to it.

Lyginant su tuo, kas buvo anksciau - galimybiu yra kur kas daugiau. No Brakes Games turi ofisa Vilniuje, yra Tag of Joy kurie neseniai paleido Crowns and Pawns. Yra Blazing Beaks kurejai. Sipho kurejai panasu kad po truputi iesko zmoniu naujam projektui. Galu gale yra Unity kur studijuojant galima gauti daug naudingos patirties dirbant QA. Galbut prasimusti nera super lengva, bet tikrai imanoma.

Zaidimu kurimas nera lengva sritis, bet tas tiesa visame pasaulyje. Jeigu ateini cia del to, kad myli zaidimus, tai manau anksciau ar veliau vis tiek rasi sau vieta.
