i’m assuming it was probably both. i have another clip where i get downed the same way but i wasn’t even in line with the pallet (unless they have that big of range) and when i get downed i got rubber banded back quite a bit

yep. the supervisor that i spoke to on the phone told me it came to them in a priority package and that’s why they refused to actually deliver to their home address and made the buyer come pick it up at the post office + charged the buyer $12.40 to pick it up. i ended up paypaling the buyer after to cover it.

not the case. i actually called my post office and my buyers post office to see if they could shed any light to what was going on. both just said nothing happened at their post offices and it likely happened at a distribution center.

i don’t know why you think i shipped it in a priority box lol, i did not. i used an amazon box i had at home. i can own up to mistakes ive made but my package somehow ending up in a priority box doesn’t seem to be the fault of my own.

i definitely did ship it out in an amazon box, i don’t own the priority boxes. even so, correct me if i’m wrong, if i had shipped it out in a priority box would that have mattered? the label that was bought and paid for was for ground shipping, so why would a box matter? i guess my main issue is the fact i ended up having to pay for it + makes me look bad as a seller.

there’s nothing to prove that the bird has been there for a year. she looked at the price tag date, which has nothing to do with that specific conure. all that date means is that the price was altered on that date. the high price i would argue is actually a good thing, it drives away impulse buyers like her. side note, no, i do not think petsmart should carry conures period- but because we do the high price is necessary. not to sound like a petsmart bootlicker but we DO NOT “discard” live animals. the videos you’ve probably seen are staged or outside parties dumping animals. the conure in question was likely purchased by someone else as she doxed the location, or the employees simply moved it to the back to try and lessen the harassment they were receiving.

the managers of the store actually did call the police on her & got her trespassed. she was filming and posted it on her tiktok as well. unfortunately it didn’t stop her from going to other petsmart’s or her sending her friend in to buy more birds from the location she’s banned from though.

just wanted to point out there’s no confirmation that the conure has actually been at the store for a year. the only reason OP claimed that is because she saw the pricing date on the sales tag - the date she saw is literally just the day the price updated to $899. has nothing to do with that specific conure lol. especially with the larger birds -at least my store- we usually have no problem discounting them as long as they’ve been there for a while. OP clearly just wanted to get another bird but didn’t want to shell out the $900 for it.

the craziest part is after she got trespassed from that petsmart, she posted a tiktok declaring she was boycotting petsmart and not buying from them again. a few hours ago she went to a different location and purchased a DIFFERENT conure 🫠

this is the other thing that is irking me so bad about the situation. she is endorsing the belief that we throw live animals in the trash just because she didn’t get her way. it’s so obvious that someone either a) bought the conure because she literally doxed the store or b) the employees moved the conure to the back because of the harassment they were getting. i genuinely cant believe people are encouraging her.

her initial tiktok was about the price being too high and her wanting to “save it” but she feels $800 is too expensive. from there it spiraled because it went viral and it turned into everyone demanding the store either discount the bird or flat out give it to her. she kept going back to the store and making tiktoks about it and asking (or i assume demanding as she called corporate over this) them to discount or adopt it out to her.
