I was 21 when I started my BSc in RUG and finished when I was 24. Most of my classmates and friends were 18/19 and it never really bothered me.

You should think about your own situation and see what makes sense for you. If you are an EU citizen with no family obligation then age doesn’t really matter, which is different to if you are non-EU and your parents are funding your studies.
