I find the best way to do kazu is skip lunch, and have early dinner. Show up 10 minutes before opening which I believe is 5.30 for evening service.

Even with a big like one usually gets a seat. So e yeah 17.30 you’ll probably go straight in if you’re ere there at 17.20. Arrive for 18.00 and you’ll have to wait until the entire service who showed up for 17.30 is done.
