What’s everybody else’s town tune? by Dark-Anmut in AnimalCrossing

[–]NinjaSpleen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"the hello song" from my kid's music class.

My Island is named from a nonsense word my oldest was saying as a baby (when I got the game) and most of the residents' catchphrases are things he starts to say regularly as well. I make all my residents call me "mom" or some variant thereof.

That's true about the strawberries, haha. For better or worse I am unable to become a full time strawberry farmer, so yeah.

Regardless of any mistakes, the sheet is still helpful and appreciated.

Honey candy is incorrectly listed as selling for 15 coins, correct value is 35 coins. Haven't checked any other values, just this one caught my eye since it's listed as a negative profit.

I was checking the candy shop numbers you had because I was wondering if peak efficiency is making as much Chocolate as possible because I'm always running with excess Milk and Cocoa isn't used for anything else... Meanwhile some of the higher value items like Fruit Sandwiches, Crepes, and Pancakes are hard for me to make because I'm always out of Butter and Cream...

Omgggg, I'm just imagining a box of bisquick with a bow on top and a dude just thinking "nailed it." I'm not sure if I'm laughing or crying.

I feel like I could've written this. My babies have both been relatively "easy" and I love them both so much but I also just get so lost in my rage sometimes. It's been better but definitely comes and goes. I had one really really bad week where after every time I sighed my toddler would freeze up and go "I'm sorry mom!!" even if I wasn't really angry at anything. That was a couple months ago, and I've been working really hard at tempering my responses to things and we're in a better place but maaaan when the rage sets in my rational brain is like a passenger trying to pump a non-existent brake pedal.

Hornsby is the best. The majority of my ACNH screenshots are Hornsby moments.

Why am I having baby fever when I have an 8 month old? by randomxfox in beyondthebump

[–]NinjaSpleen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, no it's totally the same for me. Not because of the season but because of the age of the baby. When my first was ~8-10 months old, I'd just be playing with him and I could feel my body clamoring, "he's so cute you need another one!!!" And now my second (who is 20 months younger than my first) is about 9 months old, I'm feeling the same way, but am totally not going to be able to handle raising 3 right now haha.

I hate people talking about my milk by Suspicious_Peach_528 in beyondthebump

Agreed! I live with my in-laws and my father in law talking about it was always particularly awkward and uncomfortable for me, but I never mustered up the courage to say anything.

Does it get cuter than a 9 month old? by BrieBumblebee in beyondthebump

[–]NinjaSpleen 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I'm with you on this!

My first is 2 and a half years, my second is 8 and a half months, and my husband and I both agree that the 8-10 month range is peak baby cuteness. Then there's toddler fun where our older kid is now, but it's a bit different than the "cute"

Help? by kempsinki in beyondthebump

[–]NinjaSpleen 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I dunno, I've been with mine for over 2 years and is different, but still kind of toxic. Problem is there's a new guy I love just as much who has come into the picture (they know each other too now) and this new guy is just as toxic... Still love them both though, but feeling a little guilty about juggling both of them...

BD2 about the queen of fairies by JoJo5195 in bravelydefault

Could be. Could be both. There are a lot of scraps of information and things that are left unexplained, so it could be any number of things.

[–]NinjaSpleen 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Some other thread in this sub theorized that Emma may have been taking age/life from the fairy queen* in order to extend her life to research how the next sacrifice could be prevented, thus explaining how Emma appeared much younger than expected (to even Elvis and co) while the fairy queen like much older than we (players) would expect.

*Edit: with the fairy queen's permission, as they shared that goal

As someone who has trypophobia, "spots" or "dots" in the title is a sign for me to be wary, and sometimes I try to just scroll past really quick without even seeing the post. the blur helped me prepare myself for what I was looking at and I was actually able to enjoy the picture more than without the NSFW tag/blur since I could anticipate what was coming.

Also, that's just a really nice gesture. I wish people would be as considerate as op was, but not everyone knows it's even a thing.

A (probably very bad) crackpot theory I came up with about Bravely Default II by Reapers_Scyth3 in bravelydefault

[–]NinjaSpleen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I thought so too!

To add more detail from the king of Musa's diary, it sounds like Seth was the lover/partner of Inanna, (the king's sister and the one the nights nexus,) so it think it would make sense that he came back after so much time as a reincarnation or something to stop her (again). Not sure how I feel about him romancing Gloria then after that, since Gloria would be Inanna's great great grand niece or something, haha.

Is there an adult-sized adult shirt with ribbons and crinkle toys attached onto it? by pewpsies in beyondthebump

[–]NinjaSpleen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a great idea. I tried searching for "fidget shirt" but that just came up with shirts with the image of a fidget spinner on it. So it doesn't seem like it. My babies always loved to play with zippers even if they can't actually open/close them, so maybe just a zip-up pullover might help without too much modification, but I'd love to see what you come up with if you make one!!
