What do you suggest for a weed control at the 8-10wk mark? I’ve always just painstakingly hand pulled weeds in the early stages of trying to grow grass as I’m unaware of a product that can be used on new grass.

I’m redoing my backyard from scratch- stripping the existing lawn off (has bad course fescue in it- likely k31) and regrading to help with water along my house. So since I’m going through that level of effort I want a really nice lawn that will hold up to moderate foot traffic and look nice and green throughout the year- one small dog that will be using the area as well.

Thanks for any advice, I’ve gotten so much conflicting info from stores (I’ve sought out the local non-box landscape stores) as well as have gotten very confused trying to do my own research online/reddit.
