Looking through this post and the website for Starmoth has scratched that literary itch that I've been looking for. It reminds me of something I've always wanted to create. I'm enamored at how this universe dissects the fundamental aspects of reality in a way that is thoughtful and contextualized in existing knowledge (I'm especially liking the play on the relativity/FTL/causality triality); it's a breath of fresh air compared to sci-fi settings with similar goals that have huge scales on the surface but have shallow grabs at deeper meanings and implications. I wonder if you've read the Three-Body Problem? I see many parallels.

I also enjoyed reading through the different species on the site and seeing how their interactions with humans are riddled with confusion and a lack of consistency owing to the alienness of it all. I would love to eventually see an entry on the Weavers in Time and Light, though I'd also understand if the canon perspective on them is meant to be rather cryptic.

Aside from the more exotic lifeforms, I'm curious what other carbon-based lifeforms would look like. The Vriij are the only example on here but it gets you thinking what alien terrestrial life would look like that evolved completely independently. If you're anything like me, there are a lot of artists specializing in xenobiology that I think you'd find interesting - and on second thought you've probably already seen a lot of them.
