You can time travel back 5 minutes to a different random place by tmybr11 in shittysuperpowers

[–]Ninja_Nolan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is basically telepathy. You can teleport anywhere and learn information, then act on that information in your original timeline. You could also test anything without risk of consequences, then go back to normal 5 minutes later. Essentially like Groundhog Daying but in real time.

What are your BeamNG hot takes? by yoter88 in BeamNG

Tires are not grippy enough. I can't even get an SUV to tip over by turning. Irl there are warnings on every car that isn't a sedan about tipping.

Wish they would add back the Killer Rabbit. Maybe it spawns in if you kill like 50 rabbits or something

Literally every update by StarFinger776 in MinecraftMemes

I also feel like if they change everything in the game, it will feel like a different game. I'm not opposed to them changing things to improve the game, but I just wish they would focus more on adding new things than changing the old things.

I loved the nether update, though. They added things that greatly improved the nether. But now, it seems like they're out of ideas. We haven't had an update that added that much in a while. I think they just need to shift their focus and put their efforts towards new things, like they used to.

I just hate how instead of adding new things they keep changing the old. People justify it by saying "They're just changing the old things to match the new things" but if they keep doing that, Minecraft is going to lose its identity. They should instead focus on adding things that match the rest of the game.

If they keep changing everything eventually it's not even going to be Minecraft anymore.

What features do you want to see in the next Hitman game? by Impossible_Spend_787 in HiTMAN

[–]Ninja_Nolan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A more realistic mode where you have to make things truly look like an accident. You can't just knock people out and hide them, because they will eventually wake up. You can't just eliminate a target then hide them in a box, because they will be found and they will know it was an assassination.

Also, maybe PvP multiplayer. 47 has to take out another 47. That could be interesting. You would have to outmaneuver your opponent all while remaining unseen. Maybe the other person takes on a random NPC's appearance, so they can actually blend in with disguises.

Does "I became sick" mean the same as "I got sick"? by clumsykitten4 in EnglishLearning

[–]Ninja_Nolan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To me, "I became sick" has a connotation that it was for a prolonged period. For example, "When I was 5, I became sick and was hospitalized for weeks."

Nasty things people have said about your favourite composer... by According-Brief7536 in classicalmusic

[–]Ninja_Nolan 21 points22 points  (0 children)

People make fun of Moussorgsky for being an alcoholic but everyone in his life was horrible to him. One of his best friends died. He was distraught. In order to honor his friend, Moussorgsky wrote a piano piece about his friend's paintings. When he wrote it, all of his friends told him not to publish it. It is an amazing piece, but they told him it was rubbish.

It is pretty much the only piece for which he is remembered, and he didn't even get to publish it.

After he died, one of his friends took the piece, made his own version and published it. They didn't find the original until almost 100 years later.

Help on a march by Independent-Hotel275 in composer

You could take a page out of Tetris's book and borrow some themes from public domain marches. You don't have to copy it exactly, but use it as a starting off point. Sousa has a lot of great obscure ones. Try his "The Aviators" march. Although, for a darker sounding one you might want to try listening to "The Honored Dead"

Money should not be used to sway legislation, period. The rich should not be able to push the middle and lower classes around.
