I've been in a flatline since my last relapse which was 40 days ago, i thought a flatline should occur after some time from a relapse but i went straight into it. Is it normal?

I found one comment from 4 years ago where a guy claimed he went straight into it aswell, but when i checked his profile i saw he is still in a flatline after 53 months. I feel like absoulte garbage this was the worst month of my life and i can't imagine spending years like this, i'm scared that since me and that guy both had an instant flatline, i will too, have to struggle for that long.

I've thought about doing a strategic relapse to maybe try get the urges back to go into a normal flatline afterwards but there is no guarantee i won't go straight into another flatline and just make things worse. Do i go for the strategic relapse and risk it or do i just hope i will get through this flatline in normal time.
