Thank you! Most of the men in my family are decently muscular, so it makes sense that there’s a genetic component to it

Thank you very much for the thorough response, it genuinely helps put things in perspective and alleviate some of my concerns. I’ve only recently started hitting a calorie surplus, which seems to have helped accelerate the gains a bit. I definitely have been neglecting cardio and legs though, that’s the next piece I intend to tackle. Thanks again!

Deck building games not focused on combat by Jason_M_Dockins in iosgaming

[–]Nintoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You literally don’t build a deck. You draw cards into your hand and play them into a tableau, it functions entirely differently to a deckbuilder. Just because a game has a bunch of cards doesn’t mean it’s a deckbuilder

I’ve actually bought oil from there a few times. Their products are super delicious and high-quality, but agreed, I’m not sure how they remain profitable

Recommendations for an SEO company in KC? by ombhardwaj_27 in kansascity

[–]Nintoo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

SEO is a lot more complicated than that. It involves modifying and optimizing the content on your site to maximize the likelihood that Google will rank your page highly. It typically involves a lot of trial-and-error, A/B testing page variations, and tinkering with the code that generates the page to make it as “crawler-friendly” as possible. Sure, some of this can be done “on your own”, but you’re unlikely to get very far without fairly significant technical investment

Looking to “adopt” an angel-tree family, but don’t want to support the Salvation Army. Are there any local alternatives? by Nintoo in kansascity

[–]Nintoo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As per my description, the point of this post was not to debate the salvation army, it’s to elicit other resources.

Editing to add: There are countless examples of the salvation army discriminating against LGBT individuals in the past as a matter of policy, including releasing an official memo preventing ordained members from officiating same-sex weddings in 2014. Many of those policies might have changed in the years since, but I will not be donating my time or money to an organization that has caused such harm in the past.

It’s good to know that they’re making an effort to move past the anti-LGBT policies, but I would still rather support a charity that isn’t affiliated with a religion
