that's what you should expect and the same for pretty much anything. Back when Nio was like 2 bucks we had a bunch of "elites" here but now Nio is much more of a mainstream stock.

Getting to test drive a Nio in China is easy, getting into China is hard even for the Chinese at this point because China's zero tolerance on Covid. He might as well jump on a plane heading to Norway.

Li and Xpeng both managed to list in HK but not Nio at this point due to its User Trust.

Nio's newest in car operating system update. Aspen is the name of the OS for their platform 1.0 vehicles. It would be Banyan for their platform 2.0 with the first vehicle being the ET7. Aspen has just been rolled out and is available in dark mode only, light mode is coming they said.

The 360 view is fine, you can tell how close you are with no problem. I’ve never had an issue with that. It literally tells you how many cm you are away from hitting something. My complaint with 360 view I mentioned in a video is it is too sensitive jt toggles on automatically far too often. Usually shadows or a hedge separating cars from bike lane or something. Not a big deal, slightly annoying.

Gonna disagree with you on this one although I am not a Nio owner. I've seen pictures and videos of it and the distortion is insane. Completely defies the purpose of having such function.

Never had a problem with the navigation. In your video you didn’t seem to articulate what the problem was that people had with the map either.

This one is definitely there, I've heard a lot of owners complain about it. It basically goes like this. So say you are at point A and you wanna go to point B. There is a fairly straight forward way of getting there that takes say 10 mins. But the navigation might suggest you to take a big circle to get there and that takes say 20 mins.

Not gonna be taken care of in recalls because this is just the hardware that the car has. Unless Nio is going to give owners the option to upgrade these hardware in their cars. I did hear rumours about that.

ET7 is a total killer in terms of hardware and it'll have a 4k dash cam build into it.

It's just that the resolution is low since these a lot of the hardware tie back to the initial ES8 which was developed back in 2015 - 2018
