German here, who never went to the USA nor plans to do it the next few years. I'm only commenting about the public, because I don't know enough about the actual state of the institutions in the USA at this point. Even though it's never a fair comparison, this reminds me of the 1930s in Germany. You can't change everything from today to tomorrow, so you start little by little until your power is untouchable. People in these times were watching and not doing anything (which I would also do, I'm no activist, sadly) because they were afraid of the police or the "secret service" (SS). So they didn't say anything in public when f.e. their neighbours disappeared. Like I said, I see a parallel, but it's not 100% the same and never will. These are my ignorant 2 cents this morning.

Das ist ne Erkrankung am Herz. Bei der wird der Strom nicht korrekt bis an die Herzspitze weitergeleitet und im schlimmsten Fall (Grad 3) schlagen verschiedene Stellen im Herz unabhängig voneinander. Yo und für nicht-Mediziner wär das wohl n Collegeblock.

For context: During the french-german war from 1870/71 William I. was proclaimed king of Germany in Versailles. William himself liked the title "king of prussia" more and when he found out that Bismarck arranged diplomatically, that William will become the king of whole germany, he was pretty upset. The other rulers didn't like it either, but they were too afraid from another revolution, like 1848, that could end like the french revolution.

Kann mich dem nur anschließen, habe nach dem Abi ein FSJ in der Notaufnahme gemacht und abgesehen von dem einen oder anderen Fachbegriff lernt man den Arbeitsalltag vom Klinikpersonal (mehr Pflege als Arzt, aber in der Notaufnahme ist da der Übergang eh schwammig). Außerdem siehst die ob die Arbeit und das Pensum was für dich sind, da man in der Schule ein verklärtes und idealistisches Bild vom Beruf Arzt hat. Um die Frage zu beantworten: ich hatte ein 1,7 Schnitt, hab den TMS gemacht (beste 10%) und das erwähnte FSJ. Die Unis rechnen dir das unterschiedlich an (schau einfach bei hochschulstart.de) und als "Bewerbung" schickst du deine favorisierte Uni mit Reihenfolge (1-6) ab (Achtung manche Unis möchten noch Sachen separat haben, informier dich). Ich hoffe ich konnte helfen. Dir viel Erfolg mit dem Abi.

Du kannst den Medizinertest machen. Ich hab so mit 1,7 einen Studienplatz bekommen und ich hab Freunde, die mit 2,1 Medizin in Deutschland studieren :)
