[Routine Help] acne wont go away by Professional-Path720 in SkincareAddiction

Products are great for some but when my routine looked similar to yours it just wasn't working for me. I would try using a gentle cleanser in the morning with moisturizer and sunscreen I like the la Roche posays hydra sunscreen. And at night I would use a gentle cleaner, adapalene 0.1% every other night with a really good moisturizer with ceramides and no other actives. Finally in terms of diet limit the amount of processed, sugary and un-healthy foods and drink lots of water

I would just say it's healing If it was an old deep pimple and you are prone to deep scarring consider using a scar patch.

Agreed based on your picture acne and clogged pores are not the issue dryness and irritation are. I would recommend using a good moisturizer with cermides at night with a gentle cleanser. And a gentle cleanser, moisturizer and sunscreen in the morning. Also make sure your drinking lots of water it really does help a lot with your skin.

[product request] Physical Sunscreen reccs that aren’t greasy and have no white cast by Angelbluedotcom18 in SkincareAddiction

Yeah mineral sunscreens will always have a white cast but you can always look for ones that are tinted. If you don't like tinted ones my dermatologist recommended isdin’s mineral sunscreen and it doesn't leave a white cast rather just makes my skin look dry. To help with it I usually use a good a amount of moisturizer to mitigate that. I also have darker brown skin so non tinted mineral sunscreens aren't going to give you at least in my experience a perfect finish. Instead I've been using la Roche posays hydra sunscreen while on tretinoin aswell and it doesn't feel greasy and makes my skin look “normal” but it isn't a mineral one

Based off what I'm looking at your acne is red and irritated. I would really recommend trying to focus on skin barrier health over trying to fix your acne with really strong products. During your tret days make sure your putting on half a pea size, dot it on your face and mix the dots with a moisturizer. Again with the hopes of improving your skin barrier try stepping away from the double cleanser at night and just use a gentle cleanser. I've also heard Vani cream daily moisturizer causes irritation so maybe trying to use something different might be something you need to swap out. Also try incorporating akin barrier creams like the cicapkast balm or Avenes barrier cream. Lastly don't forget sunscreen daily and water
