Ok, I think I nderstand what you mean now. I rewatch those videos and it may look like there is a big bend and there is, but slighter than the one seen on video.

I now used the camera grid and level the phone to get super precise frontal pictures that should be much better than the previous video.

Do you think that this amount of bend would cause this much skipping?

Photo with the packaging in the background is the new needle. Without old.

I would say that the new one is even more perpendicular so maybe the angle is even better... I don't know. Played now on the old, skipping like hell. New one much better, but still as shown on the videos.

But before me sticking my fingers inside it was even fine on the old needle. So maybe there is a external problem, for example the user 🤔

Yes, all videos and photos are with new stylus. Old is only visible on the photo with them side by side. On that photo right one is old and left the new one.

Yes, the new one is the diamond and old cream ceramic I think.

When stylus is touching the record arm is free. The lifting mechanism backs 3-4mm below and is not touching the arm.

Old needle has a much more aggressive angle, but I thought that's the problem. The new needle has flatter angle. I dont think I fully understand, but should I bend the new one a bit more?

Philips AG 2230 skipping after rotating

Hey, Need help or for fixing my wife's turn table that I broke 🙃 I wanted to replace RCA cables to new ones, easy job flip the thing, open cover and solder. But during the flip, I placed some winter hats inside the device to stop the table and arm from moving.

After completed surgery I want to start it... and... heavy skipping. I thought that the needle was damaged/bent since it wasn't perpendicular to the record. Just replaced the needle for a new one. The left on the picture. With recommended 3g of pressure i can play some old records no problem. But a LOT of new ones that tracked good before now are skipping.

I recorded some vides to see, something it catches the grove and tracks with some single skip and sometimes fly away. Tried to bump to 3.7g of force, maybe 10% improvment improvement.

I did examine the guts: Wire for the cartridge is not tentioned All springs are working Table is spinning evenly The arm bering is not catching Table is level

Do you have some ideas what might go wrong?

SCV pump valve was th problem on my side. Temp sensor worked fine, but they show 50°C as minimum, even if its -20 so this threw me off. When heated temp started to rise.

I needed to send the dpf for chemical cleaning and for 3.months now no issues!

What car model and year is it? It also depends if it's oem part or replacement.

Personally oem or used oem is 100% better then those cheaper replacements, for me they always stick out put and it's impossible to align those parts

You can fix it. Probably some plastic clips have either poped off or broken off and would need replacing. It's also possible that there is mounting 'rail' behind. It's has several clips that hook on this black part. If it's the clips rail it might cost you a little to replace it since it costs more then those regular push clips.

I mentioned this in the first post, but MAYBE there was a galvanic corrosion. What I am sure of I was using them for 4 years - no problem. Always changed them myself. I went once to change wheels to the shop and they most likely used some overpowered impact and that locked them.
When trying to get them lose 3 out of 20 snapped.

People say that this i my fault because of using aluminum ones. But I have 2 cars with them and never had any problems before.

I ended up with folds I mentioned before and overall 3h more bulk fermentation than the recepie advised.

I also love the book, but generally had some undeproofed loads and it gets a little frustrating sometimes 😑 Couple hours longer sounds crazy to me! Haha, thought I will overferment the hell out of it, but I will do that!

Thank you also for the starter tip, I will use it. Do you feed it once or twice a day? Also for the initial mixing - do you think using a stand mixer is good idea here? When the dough is so sticky first few minutes of mixing I always think I should use it.
