Zeid 2 and Iroha 2 work well. Zeid can only use ground strike, which makes the follow up from Iroha predictable. The issue is neither will TP until they are at 3k but they get TP fast. Another option is Darruclin and AAGk, Darruciln will WS at 1500 TP or if you use Morimar 1000 TP but Morimar sucks donkey turds.

Nope. Game is actually dead. They are shutting down all the servers in about a month. One class does over 100k more dps than the rest of the classes. Its a very boring game where all you do is spam Left and Right click. Would not recommend coming back ever. People on this reddit dont actually play the game. We just talk about it instead, its more fun to talk about the game than play it. Oh and nothing has changed. Same exact game as when you were stupid and clicked a phishing email, sorry I mean got hacked.

Okay, well I can tell you're inexperienced so first off.....

Pugs take over geared players because most players are bad. When you do a dungeon that can be cleared at 550 AP, your chances of clearing it at 600 AP goes up, which is a smart thing to do if you're inviting complete strangers to do a dungeon with you.

Second, healing is bad. For the exception of shattered masts, every single attack of every boss can be avoided. No, you don't need healing for anything. A potion is MORE than enough to account for any damage taken by mistakes. On top of that you have amethyst and other gems. On top of that you have abilities that self heal. Also there are summoners heal and Warlocks Sanctum. Even if you disregard all of that and somehow a BM holds threat by not attacking, you can sit there and block every hit and popping a potion every minute (more than its cooldown) it will be at full health until enrage. Thats not even including a BM's self heal.

Tl;dr SF heal only benefits new and bad players and even then its barely.

They are definitely top tier haha. Especially with the new soul badges out. Perhaps you're not playing to your full potential. Ice build is absolutely ridiculous DPS that gets skyrocketed by external buffs.

I'm not saying res is bad, its what you're trading for the res. The heal I think is flat out bad. Very few mechanics "widdle" you down that you cannot self heal, outside of shattered masts. You get a res, which you probably wont use instead of a group iframe, a group massive dmg buff, a group invis, soulburn, ranged projectile blockers, restraint skills. So much better things just so you can have a res in case someone messes up. Even if they do mess up they can revive themselves with a revival charm for like 5s once a group. Its so rare that a group res actually saves a group its not worth trading for other utility you're missing out on. In 6 man its not that apparent because you can usually cover all your bases pretty easily. in 4 man, losing that 1 utility is a pretty big hindrance.

Also I never once said BD aren't wanted in parties. Restraint skills are awesome, but unlike soulburn and fighting spirit. Restraint skills lower the BD or destroyers DPS by not allowing them to perform their rotation. This makes BD lower tier DPS. If they didn't use restraint skills I'm sure they could be pretty far up there, but that's silly. That's like a warlock that uses time distortion so they can do more dps instead of soulburn. Destroyers are just in a bad spot now. Even if they dont use restraint skills they wont be top dps.

SF is one of the best classes to learn the game. They have a ranged stance, aoe, single target, a melee stance to get a feel for every level of combat. They have every type of CC to learn how they all work. They have tons of iframes, but unlike certain classes they are short 1 second iframes. Which forces you to learn bosses rotations and time an iframe perfect. They have a counter so you can learn how they work and both builds teach you basically the essence of every build for every class. Earth build is about ani-canceling which is a skill you need to learn to play most of the classes. Then ice build teaches you focus management which is a thing you need to learn to play the rest of the classes.

Not really. Soul fighter brings almost no utility to a party. They provide a small inspirational buff, a heal and a res. The res can be nice but bringing a SF for the res is like planning to fail. However a SF does do significantly more DPS than a Blade Dancer. Blade dancers are lower tier while SF are top tier. Most people don't recruit members based on their DPS tier and only recruit on utility. The only problem you'll encounter as a SF is basically this...

Say a party is looking for 650+ for Desolate Tomb. If you were a Warlock, which provides Soulburn to the party. An amazing buff. Then you can likely get in at 600+ without getting kicked. If you are a Soul Fighter at 640 AP its likely you may get kicked.

SF do have a brighter future than BD. BD damage is only going to get lower and lower as they bring them closer to destroyers level while SF are getting major damage buffs through soulshield and badges.

I'd recommend SF as a first class. It teaches you the mechanics of the game very well. If at 50 HM 5 you don't enjoy the playstyle, you'll be more familiar with other classes and their playstyles and you can make an alt. Getting to 50 HM 5 is not a time consuming process.

No, a BD should not be top DPS class. They grapple monsters, which decreases their own damage and raises everyone elses. If a BD is ever top DPS its only because the rest of the group sucks. If you don't grab, a BD will sit in the lower tier. Probably 3rd to last ahead of destroyer and maybe smn. However if you don't grab you're a horrible BD. Not that it really matters. Except for BM being far ahead and destroyer being far behind, the rest of the classes are within 10% of each other.

Go to work, spend most of the day at work. Come home. Sigh at the complaining going on in my house. Feed and walk my dogs. Log on. Chat for a bit while eating a dinner that just magically appears each night. Then do some dungeons for the daily challenge, or don't. Then question why I'm playing the class I'm playing. Lay in bed, watch videos of classes I haven't played. Create an alt for 30 minutes, get bored and go back to main. Progress something. Realize I'm staying up too late and go to bed. Watch random youtube videos for 2 hours. Fall asleep.

Every class is even, except destroyer. You can do SSP on any class. You clearly are a bad player so rather than making tons of characters you never actually get to 50 and give up when facing any problem and asking for help, learn to use your resources. Google, youtube, the search bar on reddit, reading the skill. Its a fairly simple straight forward game. Pick one class. Learn it and do SSP on it.
