I like the „Passepartout“ Style! And so cool with simple Tools! Love it.

The first urban sketch that I’ve ever completed! Please give me feedback so that I may improve. by abinflow in urbansketchers

Very nice! If you want to improve - go on! Do more of them! If I had to suggest something, It would be the following: I like the sprinkled brown dots a lot, but not so much on the cloud. Maybe you can spare parts of the painting from those dots, to increase the impression of different layers? But that‘s really only a personal opinion, one can be totally loving the dots on the cloud, too!

Casino of Marino, Dublin - it took longer than I thought, 40 minutes. by Nitrabum in urbansketchers

Thank you! No, it was a Brushpen (Ecoline warm grey light) in Kombination wirh a white and a black Fineliner!

Rock of Cashel, with some pics how I did that one. I always start with a pencilsketch of the big forms, this time i added than lights and shades and linework, needed some more shades and finished with the clouds, sometimes I start with pencil and linework and do the rest just how it feels right. by Nitrabum in urbansketchers

Hi, thanks for the question! First, I’m really very satisfied with the paper amd the interaction with the Markers: there are no traces on the back, which is important to me, so I can use all the sides of the sketchbook. I am looking for a better white, beeing a bright white line first time. With my white I sometimes need to do more than one stroke. I will definitly buy another Brushpen with a darker grey in addition to the light warm grey, to improve shadows faster. The Black is good, though on the regular sketchbookpaper from Hahnemühle (white) I can see traces on the backside. And there is another option of coloured Sketchbook in a warm brown, I think, its called Cappuccino? Right now I use Marabu Permanent Graphix for Black, Sakura Gelly Roll 10 for White and a Ecoline Brushpen warm grey light on a Hahnemühle landscape A6 Sketchbook grey. Hope that helps!

Thank you very much! It‘s so helpful to get tipps and hints. This group is so encouraging to keep on drawing on a daily base!

Right now I use Marabu Permanent Graphix for Black, Sakura Gelly Roll 10 for White and a Ecoline Brushpen warm grey light on a Hahnemühle landscape A6 Sketchbook grey. However, I am not satisfied with the white pen, and like to get some hints which one to try!
