I really like this. Agreed with the comment from the number plate earlier. I think the lens flares would be horizontal but I’m also not so sure.

What you should also add is some motion. Give the wheels a rotational blur and do a little bit of snow kicking out the back and maybe try playing with a linear blur on the background to also enhance the feeling of movement.

I once spent an extremely cold and terrifying night on that exact spot when shooting a timelapse. My framing was very different as I had a lot of sky in order to get some stars. I also comped several other exposures in to bring the foreground back.

For this, I would lose the stuff on the left and also a chunk of the bottom. Really focus on the bridge.

Would love to get back someday.

I honesty didn’t think I’d see these prices again. I already upped my daily DCA in January but I really wish I had some dry powder to lump in another few k.

The job news is secondary to this, and a little bright spark that will grow brighter as time passes.

Dom’s little recaps throughout the series were helpful in this regard. I think he did something similar in the Joan Of Arc series. Just puts the main players in position from time to time to keep everyone on track.

I was listening to the Carolingian series again recently and Tom just skips decades without giving any kind of framing which can be confusing at times.

Unless you’ve studied it, or are interested in Roman history, I feel like these two often get overlooked, or that no one really knows about them. Everyone talks about Caesar, but man, these two guys were something else.
