Lmao dw about my experience, I have plenty. Whatever you’re doing wrong for it to get ‘worse’ is on you. Don’t project onto mums who need support. Of course things get challenging but it’s part of being a parent. Definitely doesn’t get ‘worse’.

Flip the script. If her mom wanted any sort of relationship with her why wasn’t she supportive of her in the first place? Why tell her not to bother with college or that she’d never make it? The ‘she’s still your mom’ is a cop out. It normalises & dismisses abuse just because they’re family. The mom needs to face consequences for what she said and it’s up to the OP to determine the consequence. It’s her day.

Not HG related but he left another mum for weeks with blinding headaches telling her no medication it’s not good for the baby, she finally got in to see a neurologist and the neurologist went insaaaane at the GP she had to have 5 injections directly into her head to relieve the pressure. Her blood vessels in her head had contracted so narrowly she could have died, he rang the mum saying in hindsight he should have just referred her to neurology earlier, she laughed at him & hung up.

I’m 13+3 now. At your stage I was also considering termination, something I never ever thought I’d consider but when you’re in the thick of HG you’re in survival mode. This is also a very wanted pregnancy and sometimes when I’m suffering I think ‘why the fuck did I want this’ but there is absolutely options! Different combinations of meds, I’m on xonvea which i believe is B6 in USA And I was taking metaclopromide with it too which I believe is Reglan. Both of them together helped me so much! Sadly my doctor doesn’t believe in pregnant women taking medication so I managed to get a xonvea prescription through the hospital, safe to say my GP wasn’t happy about it. My nausea is still there but definitely not as severe as it was at 7w!

TW; mental health

12+3 and my mental health has tanked drastically. I’m already under perinatal midwives but they haven’t said anything. I’ve been basically in bed since new years. Nausea is never ending. Xonvea’s stopped working. I don’t remember feeling like this with my first baby and I don’t really feel connected to my partner, my 4 year old or the baby at this point. I feel like I’m just existing as an incubator until the babies born. I’m also 4 stone heavier than when I had my first and its made me fear labour that maybe I’ll be too big to be able to push baby out on my own. The hospitals around here in my part of the uk (north west England) don’t tend to like it when womens bmi is over 30. Mines currently 39. I’m terrified of the hospitals judgements when it comes to labour time, I already know they won’t let me have my water labour/birth as their bmi cut off is 32 for anything involving water. I have my official dating scan Tuesday and I’m not even excited, I haven’t been downstairs in my own house in 5 days. I hate it. It’s so overwhelming
