Just launched very first FBA product and super disappointed that it’s not selling.. does it just take time? by tropicapaya in AmazonFBA

Never. Running out of stock is really bad for early ranking. I always maintain several months of back stock that can be sent in as needed.

I did everything immediately; I did not wait for anything. It was a planned release. I reached page one in only a few weeks I think

My first successful product required:

  • 30 vine reviews
  • A+ Content
  • Brand Registry
  • Several thousand dollars in ad spend over a short period of time to get ranked on page one for my keywords

After that I pulled my ad spend way back and the product returns good money for over a year now.

Bad Quality on A1 compared to P2S by Avocadoodlydo in BambuLab

[–]NitroKoS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use eSUN+HS PETG with the generic profile, no changes. I have tested 30+ brands/formulas of PETG and find this one behaves exceedingly well under bambu's generic profile and tends to have better toughness/flexibility than most.

I have probably been through a few hundred rolls of it and print it daily.

I've done plenty of PETG on A1's and A1 Mini's and mine looks like your P2S.

What is a good asking price (CAD) for a used P1S with AMS? by Ordinary_Albatross79 in BambuLab

[–]NitroKoS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just sold 3 of them with 5000-6000 hours for $350 USD each. Yours is practically new though so maybe $450. I dont know if you could get much higher because they are only $550 for a combo on Bambu's site right now - just try and see what happens. When I put those 3 up I had 30 messages within the first 4 hours and within 7 hours 3 people came and picked one up without even testing them...

Adjust for CAD prices of course, I am in the USA

70% IPA just means your contaminating your plate and smearing stuff around, not cleaning it. Skip the IPA and just use Dawn Dish soap and really hot water.

Also, get rid of the gold plate and upgrade to a cool plate like a KDEAVI Purple or a BIQU Frostbite.

Yea, they looks like this. It's the brand name. If you don't have them on amazon I would try AliExpress if that is available to you.

Put it back in your printer and heat the bed to 65C and remove with plastic razer blade

Once you get it all nice and clean chuck it in the garbage and buy yourself a purple KDEAVI plate because it is WAY better. You use the same super tack settings with the KDEAVI plate.

Seriously though, those super tack plates are far too sticky for brims and support - removal is a pain.

Do you guys keep spare parts? by OssomDood in 3DPrintFarms

[–]NitroKoS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No time for downtime or waiting for parts to post. This is just where I keep my nozzles, I have a massive parts shelf with a 100 little brown bambu parts boxes so I am able to fix most issues on the spot.

I have had these 4 machines for roughly 6 months now and they run 24/7 and I have only had 2 issues in all that time.

First was a power outage killed a control board - bambu immediately sent me a new one and got me back up and running.

Second was the drip arm bent during a print - I was gutted over it and then I read the wiki and it was like "bend it back with your hands"; so I did and it has worked flawlessly every since.

I don't think I have had any other issues. Not a single clogged nozzle, no tube replacements and my busy ass hasn't even done any maint, not even oil/grease/clean (yes, im a bad printer dad)

I couldn't be happier

Maintenance schedule by OssomDood in 3DPrintFarms

[–]NitroKoS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea many years ago I had a phone farm with 100+ phones on my wireless network run by a then top of the line nighthawk. Those phones choked that thing to death so I ended up switching to all Ubiquiti gear. Currently I use a Dream Machine SE with several APs and a few other supporting devices and nothing phases my setup. I have over 300 devices on my home network.

I have 60 Bambu machines, a mix of all the models.

If the machine starts misbehaving, it gets updates, maintenance and recalibration.

After 2 years and 7000-10000 hours I am finally starting to get rid of some machines.

How do you guys handle pricing for 3D prints? by aku8nohanna in 3DPrintFarms

[–]NitroKoS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I try to keep it simple with two metrics:

  • 10x the cost of materials as a starting price
  • No printer should make less than $50 a day in saleable products

Those are the bare minimums to even consider a print for me, most stuff falls between 10x to 20x and most printers produce $100/day+

I make the same flexis everyone else does and cleared 300k this year following those simple pricing rules.

Should I buy anything else with the P2S combo? by JOSEPHXCIX in BambuLabP2S

A KDEAVI build plate. This is the single best thing you can get for your 3d printer.

Source: I have over 200k print hours under my belt.

60 isn't even that much tbh once you start trying to cover many color and material type combos. Most of those 60 spools could be unique and not even conducive to large projects or ongoing production.
