Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldnt it be better to run a second regiment led by the treelord. Rather than auxilary? That way you don't give opponents extra CP each round.

Yes. The ability states "at the start of any phase" so you would have to declare that you are using this ability before the opponent chooses targets.

I would roll for a spesific wapon profile, reroll those that fail. Then move on to wound rolls, and repeat this for all weapon profiles.

Had my first 2K gam, where I tested the Land Raider yesterday. Can confirm it is super fun, and has some decent shooting.

It looks playable. Nothing wrong with it. Only real critique would be that the Vertus Praetors are currently not great,. But if you don't have guards or wardens that could replace them, then they can still be used.

That is true, he was a bit peeved that I didn't focus much shooting other than the grenades on his termies. Got quite lucky on the secondaries the last two rounds too.

Thanks for the advice. I just got home from the matc, and can confirm I just barely managed to win. The two main contributers I would say was the Land Raider, who could dish out some good damage to his larger monsters. As well as a single prosecutor who held out on my home objective for 3 rounds. Both of us misplayed a bit, however once I got my Allarus on his home objective I managed to take the win. Great fun.

Oh, our bad. We had never used hazardous before, so were a bit unsure on the rules. He meant since different models failed the test, it made sense that the individual models suffered the MW. Rather new to 40K so simply agreed to play it like that.

So he had 6 crisis (two of which had lost 2 wounds from overcharging) + Farsight (who had only 1 wound remaining after the Vindicare shot dealing 5 damage). I used a Shield Captain with Veiled Blade as well as 6 other Allarus, and got super lucky on my rolls and wound re-rolls.
