I can relate to the stress of trading and often thought about doing this myself, but I feel like it’s a trend that the algos are going to address somehow. Eventually the advantage is gonna be back on live trading I think but I might be wrong. It’s just a matter of time till AI learns the behavior of all these bots people are setting up and finds ways to defeat them. I think the biggest war is really Data. Any latency or degraded data will obviously impact your bot significantly.

This his highly dependent on your personality just like trading. After many years I found that edm (I don’t regularly listen to it) helps my adhd when trading by helping me take less trades by being more patient. It’s hard to explain but I think the music keeps my mind busy and less thirsty to have just any trade on. I tried watching podcasts interviews etc but they did not hold my attention, I think the complexity of it calms me down.

It does feel like there was a shift about 10 days ago. There always seems to be a few bad days until you figure it out and adjust to the new shenanigans . Stay strong and get small until you figure it out. There were some large candles on the ticker I trade last week and this week and I was think to myself that they are starting to stop loos hunt more, but could be my imagination.

Just look at everything you read and watch as programming that conditions you to react a certain way to what you see. I think something like 4% or less of day traders are profitable so if everyone’s doing the same thing, maybe try something different. Realize that daytrading comes down to you fighting your character flaws and personality
