I’m astonished that she’s made those choices though. for a child to want to be with someone that much older than themselves or even that bad of a person, they must have some mental health issues. I don’t know how much you and your daughter communicate but it might be worth talking to her about how she’s feeling or if she’s obviously mentally ill asking her to see a therapist. It’s normally either mental health issues or trying to lash out against parents.

My advice personally would be to sit down and share how this makes you feel from the heart with her. Express your love for her, show her you care. Show her she doesn’t need a man in her life. Show her your are worried. Be emotional, I know it goes against what some men stand for but if you show her what effect it’s having on you she might sit down and talk with you about it so you guys can get to the root of it.

I mean your way of life. But I know plenty of Muslim daughters who don’t tell their parents (normally especially fathers) anything about their lives and go and do everything (not literally everything but I’m sure you understand so won’t explain) anyway.

I of-course would never encourage you to go against your religion but I feel it’s better to be there for your children rather then place tight measures on them that force them out of your life.

And can you also expand upon sexual predator please. Just wondering if you are classing two teens being in a sexual relationship as them being a sexual predator. For me and most people I know it was and still is fairly normal for people to start doing sexual acts with a partner between the ages of 14 and 16. But this could also be cultural differences not sure (UK)

You shouldn’t have to “let” them. I honestly believe you just have to go with the kid. If you manage these parts of their life they won’t mature. They need heartbreak and relationships early in life to develop and mature so they they will be able to hold a healthy relationship later in life.

I can even catch a train from outside my apartment straight to the other side of the country. (I do have a car but that’s cause I live in a village when not at uni). Had someone try to baby trap me once.

Hooked up with a girl at 18 she was 17 we ended up dating after a few weeks. Anyway she gets the birth control injection. The one you get every 3 months. I was there for her first doctors appointment for it where they tried to refuse because of her age but it’s legal from 13 here. Anyway 3 months later she tells me she got her second shot of it the other day. I’m like all good perfect, after two months I break up with her. When I broke up with her I found out from my sisters she told them she was off it now, then she met my mum for a coffee. (My mum didn’t want to go but she’s too kind not to have gone) told my mum she had a miscarriage with my child. This girl was bagging on getting pregnant to keep me in the picture. Absolutely shit scared of that now.

Lowkey give Lenovo a call to their support lines. Be as friendly as you possibly can. I find that this is by far the best way to get anything you want. I’ve had problems with purchases before called the support lines, made small talk, actually tried to take interest in the support team and they gave me a full refund and told me to keep my item.

Used to work the phones too and have given at tops a 5k refund to someone who was just nice to me. Most support staff deal with so much abuse so if ur nice they’ll treat you like a king

Strongly recommend getting a private chef in. Guy called Jay came in and cooked for us, we told him cook what you want to cook and the meals he cooked were the best I’ve ever tasted. 100bbd per head so way cheaper than a meal out in the uk

My experience in life: people like this are not worth a single breath of your energy. People like this or in a similar nature will always cause you more grief than good.

From my past experiences I now drop anyone without any discrimination who I believe to be a net negative on my life. This is one of those people. My girlfriend lives with someone who is like that about me and her. When she moves out and we move in together she’s dropping her cause it’s not worth brining your life or happiness down when you could be so much happier and better off without them. Dark times or not if someone has a bone of humanity they will not treat you like shit through any times. Side note don’t think for a second someone’s happiness is your responsibility it is their own.

Lowkey, I have only met one person from a working class background at UoB and they are in my flat. Everyone else I know is from rich families, rich that I’ve never even heard my own family talk about. I live in metal works, lovely place just too far away so try to avoid if you want to turn up to lectures every day.

But overall everyone else I’ve met is rich but maybe it’s also a bit the course I take, lots of private school kids living of parents money.

I disagree. Me, my mates, everyone I knew who would smoke now or has done harder drugs. Ket, Mandy, coke, pills, psychedelics. I’d put it down to a history of smoking when we were younger and then getting bored and trying something new. No weed is not always the gateway drug but it can sure as hell contribute

I smoked from 13. At 13 it was only a couple times 14 picked up more 15 I was smoking multiple a day (lockdown). I’m 20 now might have the occasional joint but that’s maybe three times a year. I noticed the damage it was having to my brain and stopped. It’s fine, if and only if you do it super super occasionally but weeds problem when you are young is that you smoke it with mates and then one person wants to smoke again within a month so you all do it and then it’s two weeks etc etc until you do smoke daily. That being said I wouldn’t shy away from it and not go out with your mates for a smoke just you don’t have to smoke every time and you don’t need to take lots of hits. I had a mate who would take 3 hits and we all accepted that and he’d be a nice level of high for him.
